I never thought I would own an Amazing Spider-Man #1
Hello All,
I am so happy that the Amazing Spider-Man #1 I submitted for grading is on its way back to me. The really awesome thing was that it was awarded a grade higher than I expected.
A few years ago I came across a comic book store called "Southern California Comics." SoCal Comics is located here in San Diego and has tons of silver and golden age comics for sale. One day I visited the store and realized as I was peering into
15,000 books and counting.
Over the years I have aquired all these comic books. So many that it has become sort of a logistical nightmare. Three years ago we had a fire in town that forced a complete evacuation. I packed up the family and grabbed about one long box of books I could not leave behind. My wife thought I was mad as I went through my collection while a fire was bearing down on us.
