I'm slowly making the move from only collecting, to more involvement.

I have a small collection of comics, mainly mid 1990s, but some lower grade 70s and a very few 40s - 50s. I've had them stored properly (b&b'd) in sturdy comic boxes which are kept in a large closet.

I'm becoming interested now in getting some of these books graded through CGC, and possibly even selling some. I've never sold a comic, and never bought one other than new off the stands. As a newb, I have a lot of trepidation about everything regarding this, but I'm carefully researching these issues and trying to learn as much as possible.

One thing that I get the feeling of, is that I live in a comic deprived geographic area. I'm in Rhode Island, and it seems that there are maybe 3 stores in the whole (tiny) state that have anything to do with collecing comics. This is one of those areas that I have to dig deeper into.
