Its taken so many years  to put this set together and i'm finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel!  7 short titles that ran from 1977-1979  . Its been  fun and  challenging chasing down such unconventional titles and I have to admit i'm sorry to see its almost complete, however there is always other titles/comics to find and collect :)    Comics Set Detail (collectors-society.com)

Love the Marvel Published Hanna's

There is an excellent article on them in the Back Issue 59 (Sept 2012).

My Laff-A-Lypics 1, when the first CGC census appeared as I recall it was the highest and 1/1 - alas no longer either.

1st Mumbly, Daisy Mayhem and Captain CAAAAAVEMAAAAAAANNNN!

Nice copy ! Its also the first Marvel appearance of Hong Kong Phooey.

I submitted the first full set copies of Spotlight and TV Stars back in the day. There still  isn't a whole lot of them on the census.

Found this little nugget recently, a nice upgrade, Still waiting for the other 3 issues of this title i sent in to be graded by CGC. That will complete my run except for possible future upgrades.  It's not very often that high grade certified books come up for sale.

Got my 3 Yogi bears Back from CGC with the following grades,

Yogi Bear 3, 9.4 White,

Yogi Bear 8, 9.0 White,

Yogi Bear 9, 9.2 White

And  I managed to upgrade a Scooby-Doo 9 to a 9.8 (W) and  Spotlight 4 in 9.6 (W) Happy with the results. Its getting tougher to find upgrades or missing issues.

was the Yogi 1 self submitted?

No, bought it on Ebay. Had a guy who was going to sell me another 9.8 years ago but he didn't follow through. I also have an 8.5 but that's well below my minimum goal  that I'm shooting for.

Submitted Laff -A-Lympics 7 and got a nice 9.6 (W). and also, a Scooby-Doo 3, 9.0.(W) That particular issue remains elusive in good shape. I have upgraded a few others over the past year and I am now missing only 2 issues and an additional 6 needing to be upgraded to 9.4 or better

Dynomutt 3, Flintstones 7, also the 2 price variants but I doubt I will pursue those.  It was fun putting these together.

The Scooby #1 35 cent means competing with hardcore Marvel price variant collectors.  9.0 and higher will command what is likley to be decent coin.
