This is the only copy I've ever seen of this book other than a photograph of an even rougher looking copy. I saw this come up for sale on ebay & snagged it cheap as the only bidder. It has foxing around the edges, a stain at the bottom & some silverfish chews along the edges. Anyway, the grade here is secondary to having a signed copy of the first published work by Larry Houston, and I had serious doubts I would ever find a better copy. I used @Agents Of Slabs to get this signed in Chicago.
I emailed Larry for information, and although he wasn't positive about the accuracy of his memory, he recalled printing only 200-300 copies of this fanzine, which he distributed out of his bedroom (while still living with his parents). I'm curious how many copies still exist. You can find ads for it in a few issues of the Comic Reader from 1975. Issue #2 didn't come out until 1978 & Larry did a couple of Comic Reader covers in 1977/1978. I'm not sure what other credits Larry might have before the 80s when he has sporadic credits from mainstream publishers. Of course, Larry is more famous as a storyboard artist and animator. His first credits for those are also from the early 80s.
