Need coverless copy of Marvel Mystery 36 Need a cover for Captain America 13 (But I changed the scans below to add a little variety). I could also use the cover to Marvel Mystery 30 which had a similar theme. Need a Hangman 6 centerfold and covers for Hangman 2 and Jackpot 2, Top-Notch 11 and 12 Add Daredevil 27 and Boy 30 to the need covers group and Dynamic 9 and Flash 42, Firestone 1947, Batman 25 and 36 and Mystery in Space 2 to the need coverless copy group. I have two Blue Ribbon issues (13 and 17) that need a cover and one that needs a centerfold. Will trade a Batman 22 centerfold for a Batman 19 or 36 centerfold. I have a Batman 68 with no cover and the last ad page missing for trade. Also need a cover for Batman 19 but a good scan would do for now. [font:Arial Black]Made a few additions to the thread. Love that FC 29. It looks beat up and belongs in an Egyptian tomb but I'll take it. This first old comic that I purchased in the eighties was FC 296. It was cut up so it could do this:

I have a coverless copy of Pep 17. Wish I had a cover but at least the Hangman story is complete. bb

Picked up a couple of new ducks. These are in pretty bad condition but the covers seem OK. I fixed the corners with photoshop. I always wanted this one which is sort of a baby's first Christmas gift to myself. These are missing most of the interiors.

I noticed that St. John did some covers for Otis stories too. I think you posted this one before. It is listed on ebay. Did Otis write any Blue Beetle stories? We know he wrote Silver Scorpion stories.

That's the nicest copy I've ever seen. Love that cover. It has Weird Science stuff and strange creatures by Paul. But the Frazetta version has sex and violence and it is cheap. Found this in a box in my basement. I used to belong to the scifi book club back in the seventies and I know this isn't worth much but I enjoy the cover.

That is a book I've always wanted to have. Congrats Luv that book! I'm lucky that I stumbled on to this copy a long time ago. Great looking book. The rest of us only have the reprints from the seventies. Someone shared these scans too. The germ bomb fits in with my "Comics and the Microbial World" theme.

BB, I should have mentioned that I checked that website Friday and I looked at those very same issues. The source of your Jeep page remains a mystery. While I was looking through the Popeyes I read many of the strips. It was lots of fun. I remember that note about the FC 25 but no one on the boards has seen the issue or scans of FC 25. You probably are correct. I should just go back and read the pages and enjoy all of that early Popeye.

Raggedy Ann Four Color 23 above Found it on the HTLM site. Also looked at Popeye FC 17, 26 and 43. None of them had the Jeep story. Perhaps the story is in Four Color 25 from the first series. Also read the Four Color 48 Porky Pig story and the Christmas parade stories that I hadn't seen. bb

BB, the Raggedy Ann splash you posted a while back looks like it's continuation of the same theme. Looks like you are right. I didn't remember that one. I have to go back and find that issue. bb

New books for the duck box. A little photoshop was used to clean up the first one. The second one has a pretty good story but it is a little rough. bb

I own 6 of those 10 romance comics. Most of the other scans are from this thread. I only own one Phantom Lady and a bunch of Police Cases in the other group (6 of 12 again I think). You can mix and match the scans I have posted if you want. bb
