  1. Schoonover did the illustrations for my copy of "A Princess of Mars". He also did this painting that I found on the ERB site. bb
  2. I think Stahr was mentioned before on this thread but I do like his odd creature on this cover and have to show it again.
  3. I found another on line which I could use for my Beasts of Tarzan book. Nice interior art too. Do you have any extra dust covers for sale? Anyone? bb
  4. And these almost made the list. I changed my mind during the edit. Hard to decide!
  5. Like this? In no special order but I don't have either of the Giants which may make the list and the later Teen-age Romance are also not in my collection of scans. I like these too, but no place to put them.

  7. I don't have a lot of dust covers for my ERB books. But I like the ones that I have. I would like this Mastermind cover too. I can make a copy but then I have to find the book.
  8. These are pretty nice books for the Duck collector.
  9. Found this ERB cover in one of the boxes. The rest of my Tarzan collection seems to be MIA. Hopefully I will find it at the bottom of one of the other boxes and it wasn't lifted by the burglars...er movers. bb
  10. Gang, I'm listing a few more books in this thread including an America's Best #7, Cap #7, Tec #15 and some other goodies! I probably can't afford 'em but I would like to see 'em!
  11. I have no idea who Edgar was but he liked Disney comics. I purchased a big batch with his name stamped on them. In the batch I found a FC 199 which was in pretty good (Fine plus) condition and cost me $5. I traded X-Men 1 for a copy of fc 199 in VG during a fit of insanity back in 1980. Sad, very sad. I must be the worst trader/dealer on the planet. bb Add me on the crazy boat with you. Monetary values aside, I would much rather have an FC 199 – one of my two favorite Duck books. Thanks for jumping on the boat. My son, Andrew, joined me in this picture taken in Duckburg 10-15 years ago.

  14. I was looking through the Duck box and I got a chuckle from these two covers. Stories are pretty good too. Love the nightmare monsters by Barks. bb

  16. Great additions to the thread Rick Starr. You have several copies that we haven't seen before. bb
  17. During the many years I spent searching for my first copy of Cinderella Love 25, I also referred to it as the "Holy Grail". This is also my absolute favorite Baker cover. In 2003, I finally scored a nice Fine copy on eBay. Then, about a year ago, a local comic dealer friend of mine turned up an amazing original owner collection of oddball, esoteric Golden Age comics. And fortunately, I was one of the first customers to see it and pick out books I wanted. There was an impressive selection of St. John romance comics, including the nicest copy of Cinderella Love 25 I've ever seen. This scan is quite large, but I'll try posting it. In case it needs editing, I'll also provide a link to the image: Cinderella Love 25 You need a recreation to go along with the comic. Scan isn't too large. Low resolution and large size still makes a small file.
  18. You mean you don't? I've owned several over the years, but I can never hold onto them. I really want a handful of Caps and a MMC or two. Probably a few Daring Mystery and maybe even a Mystic. I have managed to pick up a handful of Caps and MMC and even a Daring but it is never enough. I find myself bidding on and negotiating for more Timely Comics when I see them. Unfortunately I am usually outbid but there are bargains out there. Don't have a Mystic though. Could use a Mystic 7 or so. I put it on my Christmas list and hope that I can buy one. From Daring 9 and Cap 9
