If the comics are water damaged anyway, why not buy a press and bake the &^0 out of any mold that may be on the book?

These would be good cover buys, but I can't say the inside art does much for me.

It depends how hard they want to hit that bottom staple. I would say it's a 4.5. Maybe 4.0 at worst.

I agree that a press could bring it to the 7.0 range.
-
I would say 9.2 for the top edge wear. Any unseen creases or finger bends could drop it a bit lower.
-
I don't see why this book doesn't get a 9.2. Most of the creases aren't color breaking.
-
Book is not that bad of shape. Definitely needs a press. I would agree with the other folks here regarding the grade. 9.0/9.2 after a press.

For California I would recommend Spero's Heroes. About an hour from Los Angeles. No new books, just back issues. Gold, silver, bronze, and copper. Great selection at fair prices. Extremely friendly staff that loves to talk old comics.
Note* They are closed on Mondays Tuesday and Wednesdays.

Make sure your oven is calibrated. If it is a newer oven, it should be ok. Older ovens have a habit of heating higher than the setting. If your not sure if your oven is calibrated properly buy an analog oven thermometer.

Courts do not determine innocence, it is of course assumed the default state, but rather courts determine guilt.
So it is not innocent until proven guilty, it is guilty without evidence until proven guilty. Got it.
I see that someone is confused. I don't disagree, I'm just saying that society sure has a different view of things these days.

I'm pretty darn concerned, but maybe not all that shocked, that some of you seem to think it's okay for a 40 year-old man to talk to a 17 year-old girl.
She is what 22 years old now? She doesn't need you to fight for her, and the other guy is deceased. There is no point in fighting for him now. Wouldn't it be wise to wait until we get all the details from both sides before forming an opinion? To answer your question though, it is OK for a 40 year old man to talk with a 17 year old.

I am happy we are talking about this, because it needs to be talked about.
I'm not necessarily sure it does help to talk about it. (Though I do admit to liking some of these posts, which I guess makes me a hypocrite). People are making assumptions without knowing all the details. What is the point?
David Bowie said that the internet could be the best thing to happen to society, or it could be the worst thing to happen to society. I think human nature has decided which way they want to go with it. When it was used as a tool it was great. A fantastic source for spreading information and education. Now it is being turned into a weapon. It has done more harm than good, with social media. turning brother against brother and truth against un-truth, country against country. I have a bleak outlook at what this world will look like in ten years.
It is funny to me, regardless of what you think about Ed Piskor, it is funny, seeing how moral people have become about a seventeen-year-old. Mick Jagger hooked up with a 17-year-old Chrissie Shrimpton, 17-year-old Marianne Faithfull, and even hooked up with 14-year-old Lori Maddox. (I feel I shouldn't have to say this but knowing how people are these days, I probably should. Hooking up with a 14-year-old is disgusting.) That didn't seem to stop him and his group from having a hit record this year. Maybe he didn't have to "groom" them. I guess that made it ok. Maybe I missed the outcry from social media when his new album was released. Regardless, I just felt I needed to say what I had to say. Feel free to complain about my view if you like. That's what the internet is for these days.

I've watched and enjoyed a few of the Cartoonist Kayfabe videos in the past. This is the first I had heard about any allegations against him. I don't really know how to react, other than to say that it is a crazy world we live in these days. Much crazier than it was ten years ago.

I liked his FF run so much that I found a way to forgive him for replacing The Thing with She-Hulk.
That said, I find it better to judge the art, not the artist.Yeah, I didn't like that either, but he did take away the Thing's rocky form and brought back his lumpy look, which I thought was an improvement.

if only Ebay allowed sellers to review the listing before posting it. *Sigh*

Hate sounding like the Grammar Police, but I assume you mean Crestohl?
I wouldn't be surprised if it was him. His grading was so bad he probably didn't even look at the book.
