  1. I paid $4,000 for them along with many other sets -- 1951 Bowman Spacemen; 1957 Topps Hit Stars; 1950 Hopalong Cassidy; 1953 Topps Who-Z-At; 1949 Pixie X-Ray Round Up; & 1960 Fleer Spins and Needles. You're right about the ring binder. He probably had them stored in something else for decades. But he did store them right away. I bought his 1950s Looney Tunes comics a year ago, which were all in great condition.
  2. Just bought complete set of 1957 Topps Space Cards that were put in storage right away when bought in the 1950s.
  3. Just bought complete set of 1957 Topps Hit Stars that were put in storage right away when bought in the 1950s.
  4. Just bought a complete set of 1951 Bowman Spacemen Cards put in storage right away when bought in the 1950s. I bought other such sets, too, which I'll post next.
  5. It's a solid 3.0. $25? I'll have to think about it. I was hoping for $3,000. So I might have to pass. I have some cool coverless books, like Superman #2 and many Detective and Batman from the 1940s. I only wish I could find their covers because the insides are complete and in great shape.
  6. Just got the first Legion of Super Heroes in a lot of 1950s DC books. 16 books for $200. So I paid $12.50 for it.
  7. Yup The Detective 33 and Action 13 got sold immediately. I needed to show my wife a quick $10,000 profit and make her a believer. She’s a comic book lover now, too, especially after I gave her $5,000 and told her to have a great summer with the family. She’s right now out shopping for a week of camping. In other news, I’ve been buying up a Bronze Age collection of 1,200 books a toy store guy had walk into his store. He’s looking up each book individually on Ebay, which is silly. I got him to sell me large lots at half of what he thinks they’re worth. The books are in great shape. Got a short box of early 70s Batman that’s a nice run.
  8. That's the 2nd Green Lantern above. All-American Comics 17
  9. I have about 75,000 comics from Golden to Modern from 20 years of collecting. And bought two comic book stores that closed in 1994 and 2014. But this tote was a mind blower.
  10. Does anyone know a past member named "Web Slinger" from Canada? He posted in 2017 an incomplete Action Comics 23 (1st Lex Luthor) with a nice cover that I need to marry a very good complete coverless book to. Maybe he'll sell it!
