True, didn't mean to come off like a bitter, angry nerd (although in rereading my post, def got that vibe) but it just seems kinda absurd that it's taking this long with NO update. I get CGC is busy (that's great) and I get that there was a hurricane (that's horrible) but I guess just giving customers more than "scheduled for grading" for almost a full calendar year would be a bit more than a courtesy. I've sent several other books to CGC and haven't had any problems (even if it took a while to get back). Usually they get the books back to me before the turn around time (and certainly updated the books status prior to the turn around time). I don't know why this submission is any different and it makes me nervous that my submission fell through the cracks...

I submitted 6 comics (submission #3953372), which CGC recorded as receiving on October 22, 2021; it's now October 11, 2022 (almost an entire calendar year and 240 work days later) and THE STATUS HAS NOT CHANGED. CGC lists the slowest possible TURN AROUND time as 240 works days and NOTHING has been turned around; in fact, it's as if NOTHING HAS HAPPENED SINCE I SENT THESE COMICS A YEAR AGO. This seems highly unprofessional and terrible customer service. Has anyone else had such a negative experience submitting comics? Never submitting to CGC again; this is disgraceful...

Thank you for the update! Much appreciated. One final question though: when I submitted the books way back in May 2021, the turnaround time was significantly less (I believe it was around 180 days). When exactly should I expect the books back? In 180 days or 229?

I submitted 11 books on May 11, 2021 (registration number 785406228348), which were broken up into 4 submissions (3839585, 3839586, 3839587, 3839588). I have received back 3 of those submissions (3839586, 3839587, 3839588) and are able to see the status of those 3 submissions when I enter them into the “Enter Submission or Order #” field on the CGC Submission Tracking page. However, I have not received nor can I track submission #3839585. When I enter the submission number, it only comes back: “Details not found. If you've entered a valid submission number, details will be available when the submission is at the "Scheduled for Grading" status.” Since the 2 books of that submission were an Amazing Spider-man #129 and a Silver Surfer #1, I am concerned. It almost seems like the submission was lost…? Can someone please update me on the status of the two books (and ideally tell me how I can track their progress). THANK YOU!
