Any reholder book will be slabbed with a new sleeve which will be scuffed. This sucks because a new slab fixes your original problem but the sleeve creates another...lmao

I just received a bunch of slabs from CGC and almost all of them have these internal scuffs. I've never had this happen on any books I have sent to them the last couple of years. Is this a new thing people are experiencing? Is it the plastic sleeves that are scuffed or the inside of the holder? This is a defect as far as I'm concerned. You should be able to look at these books without seeing this type of stuff. Outer scratches can be buffed out but this internal stuff needs to be caught before they seal the slab.

I'm going to try and press only that part of the book and see what I end up with.

I've pressed a couple of books with the stickers intact and since the sticker is a bit raised on the page it is on, the outline of the sticker protrudes throughout the pages of the book and leaves an impression. How much does CGC drop the grade for something like this?

I think I have a 9.8 here and I don't want to crack it open to devalue it.

I received a $150 credit when I signed up a year ago and my membership renewed a couple of months ago but I don't remember if I get another credit or not nor where to look for it. What about the free shipping/spplies boxes thing they were doing?

It seems they started checking in our packages sent to them back in November but they still haven't confirmed anything I sent to them in December and January. I was under the impression that their new way of doing things helped alleviate the whole "I wonder if CGC actually has my package despite what the Post Office says" kind of thing.

I had the problem on Safari, switched to Chrome and it's working. It used to work on Safari just a week ago!

I select: Mail In Grading Modern Prescreen Add Comic And it keeps kicking me back to Private Signing and wants me to to select an option in that window. I can't get any further than this. Help!!

This sucks if true. Where else can I get 4 mil mylar at all different sizes including posters and prints?

The current turnaround time says "Now opening comic book packages delivered the week of December 13, 2021". I have a set of 11 books delivered to them on 11/3/21 and a set of 25 books delivered to them on 12/3/21. Would you consider this minor delays or should I be worried they lost my books?

That's horrible. Anything like that should move right up the chain, no questions.

I'm getting my shipments of 10 or so modern books graded and shipped back to me within 3-4 weeks now. I'm happy as a lark!

I'm not complaining at all but a batch of ten modern comic books (no fast track) I sent for grading 5 weeks ago have been graded and are on their way back to me. I didn't think I would see these before next year. I'm pretty floored by this. Am I too cool for school? Am I better looking than I thought?
