Looking for any thoughts on my Chamber of Chills #23. Items of note: Slight chipping along front and back cover edges Overall foxing Date stamp on title Off-center cover That's all the major stuff I can think of. Any concerns with pressing/cleaning making the chipping worse? I almost feel without any major creasing or dings and the fact that it's pretty flat I should almost go with it as is? Any feedback would be much appreciated! Thanks all!!

Items of note: Color breaking creases along top cover 1" color breaking fold half way down right front cover Color breaking crease bottom right cover Slight chipping top of back cover Staining top left back cover Overall foxing Date stamp on title That's all the major stuff I can think of. I worry of pressing/cleaning potentially causing any of the chipping/creases to cause larger tears. Especially considering how clean the majority of the image is outside of the margins. Items of note: Color breaking crease through bottom portion of front cover Color breaking crease bottom front cover corner Color breaking crease 1" in from bottom left front cover Small cover edge nicks Several spine ticks Small edge tear half way down back cover 2 1/2" of scotch tape applied to bottom left cover corner. Visible on the front and back. Assuming this was placed due to a cover split. Most of this stuff I can account for, but the tape is really the thing I have the biggest question mark on where that lands the grade. I just have no experience with getting stuff done in that condition. That's all the major stuff I can think of. Any feedback would be much appreciated! Thanks all!!

Literally ANYBODY actually trying to find my books would be nice. Customer service just keeps telling me nobody from the floor is responding. For like 2 months. It's super great.

Advice needed.... I've had 2 Modern orders in G/E/I since 7/21 (16 books) and 8/22 (15 books). I have emailed and called CGC weekly (and multiple times a week) since the end of August, and as current as this week they just keep telling me they are "looking for them" and "trying to get an answer". I'm told the orders have been graded (although they are refusing to tell me the grades), but they must be "misplaced". I literally have no idea what to do at this point. Anyone have any advice at all?

Very happy with this Bronze Age return. Everything was at least right on point with my estimation, or even a grade or two bumped up after the clean & press treatment.

I'm kind of at a loss. I have two Modern orders that have been in G/E/I since 7/21 and 8/22 respectively. Multiple attempts of emailing and calling customer service have returned nothing. I'm continually told they are working to process the orders, while they just continue to sit with no movement. The modern turnaround time of 20 days has been consistent since August. My order from July is passing 60 business days this week. It honestly feels like the orders are lost and they are just not wanting to tell me at this point.

Snagged this from the comic section of an antique shop a few months ago for $4. Mighty fine purchase!

Not $1, but very insane find for $3.95!! What a day.

Most of these were fillers to clear out stuff I still had set aside last year so I didn't have super high hopes for most of them anyway. They performed as expected for the most part. The AMZ #194 was the ultimate goal and that came back better than I anticipated, so overall I'm very happy with the returns. (Especially considering they've been sitting there since 5/12/21)

A nice box showed up for me today. The only disappointment was the AMZ 238, which was a bit brittle and took a couple tiny chips during either the pressing or handling phase. I was anticipating 8-9, but that was before the chipping, so it got hit a bit. The others were slightly higher than I had hoped for though, so that was a definite net positive!

Pretty fantastic day. The Surfers have some heavy staining, but I thought they'd come back even lower than they did, so I'm super happy with those too.

You guys really got my hopes up with the 5.5-6.5 estimates. So imagine my current mood... That was some magical C&P!!!

Got to meet him a bunch of times and he was always amazing. The only original I have is a page from New Frontier, but I love it. Have also been lucky enough to get a few sketches from him. Miss his work something fierce.

Just one back today, but very pleased with the return.

Same boat here. Had a 2 issue Standard order delivered on 9/30 that was shipped back to me as of today. Amazing.

Thanks folks! I know it's low grade, but I love seeing the full coverage spread here. It went off today so can't wait to see where it falls!

-Cover is separated from bottom staple. -Light sun shadows across the top I believe. -Last pics show a few spots of staining (water drops?) across the cover. These are only visible with the right lighting reflection so a bit tough to capture. They're practically invisible behind plastic, but definitely something there. Thanks!!
