The Second print has been going for a fraction more any guesses? The first print was around 50k Second Printing listed as 3/16 per the CGC Census with only 4 graded in total all being 9.8

it seems prevalent... Ive owned several copies ranging from 5.5 to 9.8 recently... even the 9.8 has it to some degree in the same area... just don't feel it necessary to post multiple pics from what I've seen on eBay link to a quick search with small discussion of related defect...

It’s a straight crimp type of indent... heard some pressers say the same but if you look at raw ungraded 180s it’s on most of not all I’ve owned two a 7.5 and a 9.8

Bingo... grabbed a pic from eBay of a raw copy... look close... same as my 7.5 I sold... and my 9.8 has a subtle indent...

Sorry guys I cant post pictures but... I owned a CGC 7.5 Copy that had divots straight line indent... A little more descriptive id say almost like someone rolled the aluminum part attached to a eraser of a wood pencil against the cover but longer at a angle horizontal across "HULK" more predominate across the "K" and a little through the "L"... Fast forward today, I get my hands on my 9.8 copy exact same place and type of defect but subtle... My question is... Roller defect/printing defect... Anyone else own copies have owned copies notice this?!?

Is it possible that some copies where made without tattooz in the inserts thus labeling them green like mine?

I dunno... I have a “blue” one if I mess with it it’ll turn green... if it’s been lying untouched I believe it’ll stay blue... I was trying to figure it out after I bought it on eBay... at the same token I compared it to the other books with similar holograms yes they are green yellow or whatever... but I was not convinced about it being a “blue” thing... the labels state “distorted” while my slabbed book was blue it was not listed any different... the errors state “distorted hologram”...

my take... as ive bought a blue type hologram.... error copies state "distorted hologram" not blue... I figure if the material is cold enough it might turn blue....

How about them 9.0's I should have kept all my copies I had a 9.0, 8.5 and 5.5... never thought Id see the day 5.5s hitting 1500...

2018-10=2008... since 2013... I bought my 9.8 in 2015(time flies) for 11k Connoisseur- The facts say Incredible Hulk #181 has doubled in price since 2013 in any grade. Lou- Although this statement would appear to be generally accurate, I do not believe it is correct when it comes to the 9.8 and higher graded copies of this book. What would be a correct statement?!? ok wait... A: Maybe you're acknowledging connoisseurs statement and raising him 10 years... B: You are eluding to the fact that the a 9.8 copy hasn't reached its potential and has possibility for more future growth... Ill affirm that my statement is within context of Connoisseurs original statement...

I sold a 9.0 for 2900 couple years ago... Torpedo Comics must have sold a SS 9.8 recently... and someone on Instagram bought a 2xsig 9.8 from a seller in San Diego... if a Blue Label 9.8 becomes a 30k book Ill probably blank my pants...
