  1. Pretty healthy result, imo. I would not have guessed $11,400. It is a terrific page though
  2. I think it might be flying under the radar. Only 6 pages of material. That Kirby TOS 39 recreation seems to be cheap so far. There is another page I might bid on. I am hoping it goes up so I am not tempted. I am trying to save for investing
  3. @Phill the Governor hooked me up several years ago. Don't know if he is still doing them but it was a LOT less than $500 a page. I tagged him so he could chime in if he is still active
  4. If I was the owner of the cover and Neal asked for 10$ to promote and encourage bidding, I would consider it. If I felt that Neal was trying to place doubt on its authenticity just so he could strong arm me into giving 10%+, I would tell him to pound sand. I think that's what bothers me th most. He is casting doubt on its authenticity without any basis.
  5. Forgot that clink charges sales tax now. That was an expensive reminder... I will have to factor that in next time.
  6. I loved Garfield as a kid. I will definitely get a strip. If they drop to the $150-250 range, I will grab a bunch
  7. I have not shipped internationally in years. Does anyone have advice? The buyer wants to pay through Paypal and I think they require tracking. However, it appears I would need global priority for tracking and that is like $100. How do people usually handle this? Is there another option? The buyer looks to be legit. He has quite a few pieces up on CAF. He is in Italy. I did a search for "International Shipping" but I didn't find anything. Sorry if this topic has been discussed before.
  8. In the focused Aug 2015 clink auction, that cover sold for $2250.
  9. $250. Maybe $350 on a good/great day.
  10. I'd be willing to bet that there are more people that love the art than worry about the ROI. The more i think about it, the higher my estimate increases. TWD, especially the first 48 issues, was amazing.
  11. I think this is what he is talking about. Personally, I think it is very hard to predict Adlard TWD pricing nowadays. Pricing seemed to collapse for some pages while others have held value.
  12. I had that page from issue 6. I loved it but let it go because of the yellowing. I was looking for my scan but i cant find it. It was definitely yellow but i am unsure about the marker. If i can find a scan tonight, i will upload. I have to have one somewhere...
