Detective 402 is especially tough to get centered and in high grade. -
Was hoping to get a 9.4 or better someday, but couldn't resist a nice well centered copy with White pages. This book just doesn't turn up very often and especially with white pages. There's only 1 9.4 and 2 9.6's. One of the 9.6's has C/OW pages the other 9.6 is the Pacific Coast Copy and the 9.4 is Oakland both OW/W.

mycomicshop.com I actually had tracked down a 9.4 CGC copy, but never got a reply from the owner. I didn't want to loose out on waiting for something I might never get, so I jumped in.

Been extra busy buying, selling, traveling, plus doing freelance over the last month. So what the heck. Paid a bit too much, but it's one of my favorite Skywald covers. Basically the only high grade copy I've ever seen on the market above VF/NM and an upgrade to my personal copy.

The "I can't believe I just sold it for that much" thread....

I didn't understand that one either. -
Got a small original owner collection today of Vampirella. Took a little bit of a risk and he mailed them to me. The 1,2 and 6 weren't too bad.

I'm not shocked it topped 200K, but didn't expect 264 either.

Happy Birthday Neal Adams. Your still one of my favorite artists EVEN with your ridiculous expanding earth theory.

I'd be disappointed to get this as a 9.8. But I don't think its way off either. 9.8's most certainly have some inconsistency from time to time. Not always from production defects either.

There was a sizable pulp collection from the Edgar Church, but a big chunk of them were found water damaged. Not too many have made it to market, but they are out there.

Continuing my Frazetta and Vallejo buying. One day I hope to get this in solid NM or better. In the meantime this isn't too bad.

Just down right super fun! Loved the art style. My favorite first episode so far of all the Disney+ series.

Bought a stack of Golden Age books from me a few weeks ago. Quick pay, easy to deal with, and good communication!

Been buying some cool Boris Vallejo covers lately. I guess the stars aligned today and I couldn't pass this one up.

I watched this last night. Very solid movie. Just as good as the original, which is a huge compliment. This is clearly written and directed by someone who loves movies and his craft. Great acting, wonderful cinematography, great use of sound and an overall A class production. It doesn't really do anything new, but its just soild fun that I recommend seeing with a crowd. It got so quiet at times in the theater you were afraid to crunch your popcorn. So what are you waiting for....get out there and go see it!!!!
