  1. These are great, love the close ups. Interesting to see the details and the technique.
  2. Long tiring day, drove for about 6 hours today back and forth to Willits CA. The guy wanted me to take 59 boxes of drek, With one or two boxes of decent stuff. All or nothing. Would not break up books no matter what. Felt like he was keeping the better stuff and wanted me to unload the rest. A few interesting keys, but wanted too much for the trouble. And I would have been at the dumpster for hours. Can't win em all.
  3. Off on another crazy adventure filled day. Will be traveling again all day. Good or bad I'm about to have an interesting story. Only one stop today.
  4. I thought the speculation thread was supposed to be over in modern.
  5. Here probably the nicest 184 I've ever seen to date
  6. A few seem to be worth it now like 244. Love this run!! Still not sure if I want to break it. Issue 285 actually teared me up a bit.
  7. Here's another one I was happy with. Love the cover!
  8. Save some of those for the horror thread! LOL!

(Unless misrepresented, which means unmentioned restoration, missing pages, item far below grade etc. then return policy up to 6 months) Giant Sized X-Men 1 Good $1895.00 3 Extra staples added to reinforce cover. Personally I would remove them, but its up to you. A press might help a little also. Nice colors! Please check out the photos, any questions, let me know. Added photos of interior as well. A great affordable copy!
  10. They called my classified ad. Showed me a couple photos of some 70's books. Said they had 5 USPS boxes full of 70's comics they wanted to get rid off. I wouldn't have traveled 2.5 hours north, but I was seeing another collection about half way so I took a risk without seeing any keys.
  11. Another keeper. Love this cover! Photo came out a little soft but really a nice 9.4.
  12. Another Skywald (Got this one from a massive collection in person last week). I never find these things in the wild, but I've now found two in person collections in a row with them.
  13. Always a tough book in grade but I can deal with this one right now.
  14. Got some great Mag pick ups today. This is one of my favorites out of the group. Back isn't as good, but this thing looks so amazing on the front! If I stare at it too long its going to get finger marks. Couldn't leave the guys place without it.
  15. 2ns stop complete unknown. Traveled way north on a hail mary hoping it was worth the time. Met a couple selling comics out of the back of their car at a truck stop. Picked up a small stash. Turned out, it was worth it.
  16. Long day but it was worth it. 1st stop: Worked out some deals and came home with these. From a high grade Horror collector. VERY HAPPY! Most of these are staying in the personal collection Some in grades I've never seen, like the Skywalds
  17. I'll be traveling all day today, hopefully will have some fun stories to tell, going to see 2 collections. Treasure Hunt. They are most certainly still out there! I love the excitement right before. 1st stop I know what I'm getting for the most part, (Horror magazines) 2nd stop close by will be 70's books. Thats about all I know. (DC's and Marvel's)
  18. I was watching big time. Tossed out a few bids, more aggressive late bidding than expected. I was bidding on one of the Spring Heeled Jack books. But some of the Weird Tales really went Cray-cray!
  19. Free shipping in the US... paypal only. $25 shipping overseas 30 day return policy if something is very misrepresented Basicly everything here except my couch. I'm not too knowledgable, but I didn't see any die-cut errors, at least the most expensive ones on e-bay right now. Looks like around 2000 cards. Many (most) looks like they came out of the wax box and into one of these cases best I can tell. Series 11 box still had 12 upopened packs. The other boxes have opened empty packs inside. Series 1 looks like no AtomBomb and only around 25-30 or so cards from that set. There is a binder with what looks like a couple sets. Many doubles, in the cases not sure about how many complete sets. Any questions please ask and I'll try to help to the best of my limited knowledge on these. I'm here to help!! Everything here yours for $999 OBO. If its still up the next morning when I wake up, PM me and I'll likely take the highest reasonable offer. I hope who ever gets it enjoys!!
  20. Brian tells a great crazy, kind of scary story with these on how he got them. Awesome ultra high graded books.
  21. Yea I believe it was a newsstand copy. The direct goes for around half that.
