  1. I am leaning towards the answer being no unless board members post info that changes my mind. I realize they aren't the same as this but, there is this rule: Threads selling digital codes or digital versions are not allowed.
  2. According to this you would but, I will check to see if this is going to change. Premium $149 Join Now! Full Access to Online Resources Full Submission Privileges Free Grader Notes for Comics When Available 10% Off at the CCG Store $150 Credit with CGC
  3. CGC grading credits can only be applied to CGC grading fees, not shipping, handling, CCS services or any other service.
  4. Hello I am going to check into this, and will get back to you. Mike
  5. For the $149 membership fee, you get $150 worth of credit with CGC. This is only good for CGC grading. You can't unsubscribe, and subscribe again within that 1 year period. Mike
  6. Hello Yes, I believe you can just make a manual note of the error on the packing slip, to ensure we have the correct information. Mike
  7. Hello The answer to your question is no. Either CGC or one of it's facilitators would have to witness the signing of the book. Mike
  8. Hello Please add a return policy to your terms of sale. Thanks
  9. Hello The online submission form isn't a "live form" so, no deductions will take place when you make the order. It will be deducted when CGC charges your card. Thanks, Mike
  10. Here is what I posted on December 9th Hello comic book collectors, We at CGC want to let you know that we have seen your comments, and the concerns that you have shared on this thread have been taken to the highest level of our company. CGC takes quality control very seriously and we have been taking steps to identify and correct the root causes of the issues you’ve identified here. We have also recently added an additional 25,000 square feet of workspace, which has enabled us to hire more people, including QC specialists and operations managers, as well as improve our processes. CGC is fully focused on maintaining – and enhancing – the quality of the services that we provide. Thank you for bringing these issues to our attention. We will attempt to contact those who have posted about a quality control issue so that we can fix it. If anyone ever experiences an issue with quality control or anything else, please do not hesitate to reach out to our dedicated customer service team at 877-662-6642 or service@cgccomics.com.
  11. So, these aren't in our database yet but, we do grade them. Sorry for the misinformation.
  12. So, it used to be required that a price you are willing to pay needed to be listed in a WTB thread. Moderation discussed this nearly 2 1/2 years ago. Someone was going into every WTB thread telling them they needed to list a price. The problem was, nearly all of the WTB threads didn't list a price. I we enforced that rule, nearly all of the threads would need to be removed and warnings issued. So, the rule was changed, and a price one is willing to pay is currently not required. There is a requirement to list a grade or grades. This is another rule that has not been enforced. I just went through the first page, and found 4 threads that were in violation of that rule. Should these 4 threads be removed and a warning issued? I would like to hear from board members feeling on enforcing this rule.
  13. Ah, Thanks for the clarification. I will check into this.
  14. Hello Currently, we don't grade Marvel cards. We will be at some point this year. Thanks, Mike
  15. Discussion of the virus isn't allowed here. I erased the mentions of it. It was either that or remove the thread.
  16. Hello This card does not meet our proprietary standards to receive and O/C grade for centering. Mike
  17. I am not sure I understand the question but, maybe this will help. Each tier has different turn around times. Currently, Modern 128 days Express 28 days Walk through 8 days Also, if someone is submitting books for the walkthrough or Express tier, and write WT or EX on the package, it will be open before the others. Mike
  18. Hello The answer to your question is no. Mike
  19. Hello I move this thread out of the comics section. If you are submitting just 1 card, you cannot choose the bulk tier for submitting. You would need to submit it under economy, standard, express or walk through. Here is a link for the services and fees, and it will show you the different tiers. Thanks, Mike https://www.cgccomics.com/submit/services-fees/cgc-grading/
  20. I have moved this to the appropriate section. Here is a long thread about scanners for comics.
  21. I have moved this topic to the general discussion forum, so other board members can chime in with what they use for slab storage.
