  2. I'll post a link here when I have the results thread available. Hopefully, tomorrow night around 8:00
  3. Just a heads up. At least 3 people have been scammed by this person. I have banned him through the points system, instead of using the flag as a spammer option. That way, his posts remain.
  4. I was told the raw images are darkened some so the defects show up better.
  5. Thanks should go to the anonymous person who suggested it.
  6. Everyone's grades should be recorded. Now I will look for the dining room table.
  7. I just wanted to give everyone the heads up that I contacted the social media manager about our loss of a great forum member, and we will be posting a spotlight in honor of Thomas Sunday the 7th on social media. There will also be a link to the go fund me page.

  9. This round is closed. I want to thank everyone who posted kind words in our PM and in the threads. That really makes my day. The reveal is coming up in a few, followed by the graders notes. The results thread should be posted around 8:00 PM tomorrow. If I have made a mistake, please speak up so I can make it right. If there is a tie, I will post how we will be determining the winners. I do appreciate the fact that the vast majority of participants played on to the end. That means a lot to me. The Summer edition signup will around July 1st. Now, for the moment of truth!
  10. A few posts have been removed. I have said it before, and I will say it again. Do not posts links to threads ATS (across the street) That includes Ditches forum, and our competitors.

  12. Hey all. Apparently, there was a bad accident up the road. The power has been out for some time. I probably won't be able to record your grades until tomorrow. (unless the power comes back on shortly). Kinda hard to do in the dark.
  13. I am not sure what is going on here, but I have locked the thread to preserve any disputes.
  14. LoL I appreciate everyone that joins these contests, and have a happy face when I see grades that match the CGC grades, and a sad face when they don't. The emojis derive from a 16 to 17 year tradition on this forum, that was started from the late "nik" I once remembered 15+ years ago quoting his emoji reply by saying really? (it was a good one) I think he replied with the same emoji, which might have been clapping hands, or he replied with a wink. Good times!
  15. I moved this to the card registry section. Maybe @CGC Lyndsey can help you out. Mike
  16. I have a lot of work to do in this thread. I should have time next week to take care of it. I have been SUPER busy these days.
  17. Ah, the emoji meaning guessing game. Here is 1 of the many formulas I use to decide which emoji to give:
  18. I do it old school to help prevent mistakes. I go to the PM and write down the persons id and grades on a piece of paper. I then check to make sure they match the ones on the PM. They are recorded in the spreadsheet, and checked with the ones on the paper to make sure they match. I then go back to the PM and calculate the score, to decide which emoji I want to post. After I hit submit, I draw a line across the persons name and grades.
  19. I have yet to see very many grades. Currently, I don't have enough to bother setting up to add them to the spreadsheet. (about 4 people sent their grades during the last 7 hours) Please don't wait until the last minute. I may not be able to flag the people that haven't submitted grades the last day, because the spreadsheet is so wide. I can't see the blank spot where the grades should be and the participant. If I have the time, I will try to do it. No promises, though.
  20. Books dated 12/84 is the latest book that can be posted in gold, silver and bronze. I am moving this to mixed.
