  1. who was it at Marvel who came up with the idea of giving artists and writers bylines I seem to remember a couple of times Stan Lee stated that the Marvel offices got fan mail asking about artists work on their issues. He then allowed the addition of artist and writers names.

  3. My order was received 7/29. Finally updated status Grading/Encap/Imaging today 9/9.
  4. I don't have a lot of experience with this but I wouldn't do it. Things can happen...
  5. Give it a bit of time and the overpriced sellers will be forced to adjust downwards. The dealers who have already adjusted are the ones making the money now.

  8. Thank you for the excellent write-up! That took a lot of work and time and it was a great read.
  9. I called Customer Service yesterday but wasn't confident in the rep's answer hence the entry here on the Boards. I wondered if anyone had the same experience...i can swap out a comic but wanted to get my high grade Creepy #1 graded. Not worth the extra shipping expense to be sent back separately.
  10. I'm dropping off books at Charlotte HeroesCon this weekend. If I'm submitting 24 comics and 1 magazine, can I have them shipped back to me after grading in 1 box or because of the magazine, it'll be returned in two boxes?
  11. I made the drive from the Charlotte area last year. If you're into comics and not as much the other stuff, then go. Similar to Heroes Con but you'll get many dealers from the northeast that won't make the trip into the Carolinas.
  12. Yes they will. Create your order thru the CGC site, print off the paperwork, pay for the service, then take your books to the show w/ the required completed forms. Show up at the CGC booth and a rep will go thru your stuff to verify your submission is accurate. You're done. Very easy. Enjoy the show. I usually go Friday afternoon. The show is slower and the reps aren't as busy.
  13. I still want to watch Godzilla Minus One sometime this year. Better see it. The bigger the screen, the better.
