  1. I've had 20 books both economy and modern in 4 different lots run through CCS and without a doubt I will never use this service ever again. In my experience the books come back in worse shape than they started. Comics that started with a couple spine ticks come back with rips and stains, the ticks are still there. I have been generally solid on my predictions on grades when I just submit to CGC directly, but anything I have sent to CCS has been awful. I don't know if there are any positive stories out there but after 4 attempts I'm done having my books ruined. The high hope of having books come back coupled with shocking disappointment of actual new damage made this the worst experience I have had in comic collecting.
  2. Attached are the two 9.8's with the pages pulling out from the cover and the effect on the staple. On another book that came back as a 9.4 there is a small white hair in the case and at the top there is what appears to be glue webbing.
  3. Has anyone else had recent problems with the interior pages detaching from the cover inside the CGC slab? I had 2 X-Men #1 (1992) just arrive from CGC in a 9.8 slab but the pages had clearly stated pulling away and ripping from the staple. Pretty sure if I send back to reslab it'll come back at a far lower grade, but this seems to be a holder problem. The same shipment had numerous "hairs" and glue problems on the cases. Really disappointing and makes me nervous about sending anything else.
