KUDOS THREAD - positive feedback on buyers/sellers
JerryZ replied to BronzeBruce13's topic in Kudos Forum
Big kudos to topofthetotem ..My captain marvel slab arrived today safe and sound..Shipped quickly as well Thanks very much! -
+1 Isn't this a little like saying the raped woman "was asking for it" ? I think the point is the buyer or NON buyer in this case needs to do something instead of blowing it off..Hall of Shame perhaps for the seller or NON seller?

I just want to say "tell us WTF you agreed upon TO THE LETTER" You took it to the people and now the people want to hear the conclusion. You can't just use us for your own satisfaction and leave us hanging. That's not how a community works. As far as I'm concerned you are both on my probation list until time stands still if you don't cough up the details. Don't bother buying from me, nor will I buy from you. I'm happy that you came to an S & M type happy conclusion but someone give me my time back for 70 pages of selling research wasted by members agreeing in private that they aren't despicable to try to escape being put on the probation list in the end. You my friend need to chill out maybe go back and read it again cause you apparently missed alot, i said time and time again i got screwed and theres nothin i can do, i dont have the book and never will what more do you want?? As far as putting me on the probation list seriously grow up and dont worry i wont buy from you and you can do the same from me. I didnt make the resolution private at all You made the resolution private by not making it public, and from the way you have worded it you had no say in the resolution either and that is sad. BTW, don't worry because you're on my private probation list, not the forum one. (and I don't own any 'Tec 37"'s either.) It's too bad you can't get this angry at the seller because you do need to grow some if you want buy here or you are going to find more of your purchases walking away from you (but not from me) Night Matt boy That's a great attitude to have (thumbs u What is the Matt supposed to do? Can he get the book? No. Why slam the guy he did nothing wrong. He said there is no resolution he got screwed. What else do you want? Stop acting like a jerk, there is nothing he can do. When have you sold here? I don't think he's going to miss out on to much. He brought it to the people and now it is an issue for everyone who participates in the sales forum as buyer and seller. Everyone agrees he is being victimized and I'm giving him some tough love that he needs. He needs to man up and you need to stop bending over beside him. Now you have gone from this is vile to its OK to deal with this seller without any info and we are suppose to be ok with this because the victim says I give up? We deserve to know the details to make our own decisions regardless of whether he or you say the case is closed. Why can't he tell us what Yannis said he felt was an agreeable conclusion even if it was squat because he knew Matt would roll over? Are you one of the PM privy ones so its good enough for you to know but not the rest of us? I'm happy that you are satisfied but I like to draw my own conclusions not just the ones made behind closed doors. Wanting to see justice served in transactions here, even if it means the seller will find another book or give a discount for making a mistake, is important to me if this is to be a healthy sales community. As far as I'm concerned that's a great attitude to have (thumbs u even if you don't share it. Self-righteous much? Sorry..I agree with subliminal on this one..This was brought to a public forum and WHY the guy who got screwed out of the book should be public . So buyer pizz and moans ,or his friend does, then we want details and WE are the bad guys here? I think not.. When someone yanks a book after a deposit was made is wrong and no excuse would be acceptable IMO. And 8 mile..I did read this entire thread and there is no explanation.Funny how you were the guy with the lynching rope( and POLL I might add) but now have changed your tune all of a sudden? As far as the buyer saying "there is nothing I can do" thats a bunch of hogwash. You can put his azz up for Hall of shame induction as he should be .. I read the long thread about the guy with the Avengers scans etc ,etc...What makes him any different then this situation? All boardies were ready to hang this guy and most did. What if this guy would have come out on the boards and said "its a private matter" .. Even though it is in a public forum No way that excuse flies either..Wrong is wrong ..
-
So you dont want to tell the rest of us who have endured this thread why you pulled this book from the guy?? I do not understand that .. Wow ..looks like we all get a mulligan before we suffer an sanctions for our actions..
-
So what's the harm when a buyer decides not to pay for a book? No harm no foul? From what I got so far from this thread is that both had an agreement and the seller didn't keep his end of the bargain. In your first post you mentioned Matt worked overtime and sold books locally to come up with the additional funds just to find out the seller sold the book he was raising money to pay off???....sorry that's not acceptable in my book. I have no horse in this race but it seems that the seller needs to make good with the buyer somehow. But how's he supposed to make good? He doesn't have the comic anymore. Nor does he have any of Matt's money. An explanation would be a good start
-
We can all appreciate you sticking up for bat... But we are still kind of wondering why you yanked this book out from the guy who clearly you had an agreement & a deposit from. You can clear things up pretty easily right here..If my name was being dragged through the mud my explanation surely would not be "for Matts ears only" I think we can end the thread right here .. Unless the usual guys want to post hot women .Thats OK by me

It's Friday night. You need to have a few cocktails. You'll feel better. DRX Oh I will...but not until I get off of work at 11:30p Must have a rough job that lets you post all day on internet message boards eh? You guys hiring at all??

A death in the family can certainly hurt you ability to be on the boards check PMs etc, I lost my Mom Jan 1 so I know what the seller may be dealing with .That being said.. I still would not renegg and sell the book to someone else. for more money if that is in fact what happened.A deal is a deal.We all have tragedys that make us unable to get the computer as much as we would like but the sellers death in the family or whatever he has going on should not stop him from completing the sale I am not insensitive or trying to downplay the sellers situation but I can understand the buyers point of view.. Sorry for the sellers loss.. A deal is a deal

Dishonest stuff going on in the Board Only Sales Area Forum...Sad.
JerryZ replied to KryptoSpidey's topic in Comics General
Post's like this make it very easy not to give a hill of beans about what anyone commenting in this thread thinks. Seriously a lot of you folks must have no life outside the boards. I don't owe any of you an explanation....I will provide some details that came to light last night after I quit working and then move on. FOR THE RECORD.... I am guilty as charged for using the same scan. The claims being made were so outrageous in my opinion that I never bothered to consider the fact that I may have used the wrong scan .Around midnight last night I took the time to read through all the pages of this thread, and actually looked very closely at the scans provided...I have to concede here...I used the scan of the wrong book, it looks exactly the same to me as well .I simply did not even entertain the idea that Krypto Spidey's claims had any merit what-so-ever hence, I kinda came out swinging as I have a tendency to do.This was also wrong on my part. The 8.5 slab in question purchased from Krypto had in fact been cracked out and sold as a 9.0 at Wonder Con, if this is a crime...oh well . I had 5 copies of this book at one time recently and still buy every copy I can get my hands on for a good price . I recently had , and sold 6 Batman #232's for the same reason, they are popular, and sell quickly for a modest profit. I have contacted gentleman that purchased the raw copy mailed out to him yesterday, early this morning ( obviously he will be receiving the wrong book ) and advised him of my mistake. He will either keep it, or send it back for a full refund. His opinion does matter to me very much, unlike the opinion of some of the derelict's and their comments made here in this thread. A lot of this thread is simply not construtive in my opinion. This might be hard for some of you to grasp as "collectors" out there, but I have sold well over 4500 books this last year alone on Ebay, with well over a thousand transactions.... mistakes do happen, I made one, I am human. Does this make me Danny Dupcheck as one boardie compared me too...no . My selling record here, and on Ebay is nearly flawless, and for good reason, I care about my customers, I am also an honest person. Sometimes the wrong book gets sent to the wrong buyer ect... Thank you to those of you that judged me by our experiences....the rest of you don't matter, at all . A few of you that I thought were friends....I was wrong about that too. I hope this provides closure here, if not...oh well. People make mistakes, let the 1st one of you that is perfect step up and start throwing stones. I respect what is at stake here....however a lot of these post's are ludicrous . So to summarize, you're mad at us for calling you a because you were a and didn't want to listen to anyone and try to understand that you were a . So now this morning, you actually investigate what everyone was telling you, and you come to the conclusion that you were a , and you make an apology that isn't really an apology, it's to make the people that were calling you a less credible for calling you a . And after your long post, I still think you're a . -

Overdue kudos to these board members for speedy payment .. musicmeta Lordrahl Tupenny Conan Qualitycomix Lovinthesurfer A big kudos to hesdeadjim for a really cool Avengers 4 German edition for my grading contest prize, and the bonus book as well Thanks to all and if I forgot anyone my apoligies.I appreciate any and all the purchases from my threads (thumbs u -
I will also add to the list of people who jumped all over this guy.. The 129 thread he had going was a pack of lies and I for one do not want to see nayone get ripped off..This is a tight knit group here and I hate to see any scammers getting any of our hard earned money.. I apoligize as well..I dont know this guy..Who knows.. maybe he was legit but odds are that he is NOT so I just will stay away from his threads .. He has since changed his ID and started listing in the grading section again...With the bugs still in his scans ..I wish him luck and anyone who buys from him I wish them luck as well.. My behavior was not really called for and I offer up my apoligies as well
-
I think that's a pretty decent way of doing it ... I agree.. I NEVER will list in my threads "personal ONLY" and if I see a thread with that in it I will not read any further.. I will let the buyer decide how they want to pay me.be it regular or personal it makes no diff to me Im selling my item so I really dont care.Repeat customers usually will pay via the personal tab and I do appreciate that but Im not forcing anyone to do it . Listing books for sale then saying personal only is a bit tacky IMO..Ill rank it up there with people who list books for sale they dont have in hand.."grades today" so what..... Lets see the book first before you decide to put it in a sales thread.. Isnt that what the announcment thread is for?
