Recently when going through some books I picked up I noticed some dells have different back covers than others of the same issue. One with ads and one without. How much rarer, if at all, are the non-ad covers?

byosti replied to byosti's topic in Golden/Silver/Bronze Age Only
yes it is. an underrated one imo -
i wonder with that scraping off if that right corner is barely hanging on by a thread.
-
the auctioneer. during the live vid

the 6.0 with Stan Lee SS with some bad tanning and little writing went for 75k with the bp. little odd he said it's one of the nicest 6.0s he's seen. idk where that's from
-
i take it then you don't consider this 7.5 too much better than the last 2 6.5s that went for 90s
-
was it purple slabbed before? if so, what was it at in the resto grade?
-
the AF 15 7.5 goes off in a bit on HA. currently at just over 100k with the bp

not good. this copy, despite the better page quality did have some slight tanning on the right edge, but that's still not enough to account for drop to 91/92

when studying census numbers like this, how many or what % do you think is resubs/presses/resto removal etc that do not include original label and then would be doubly counted? same with cgc to cbcs or cbcs to cgc skewing
-
When subbing from cbcs to a cgc from a pedigree or collection book does it help to send in the old cbcs label that it was cracked from or no
-
gonna give this another day or two on here before posting it on other avenues
-
odd. guess it's something in their coding or algorithm.
-

do you have this one 5.5 from heritage few months ago in there? 55k Amazing Fantasy #15 (Marvel, 1962) CGC FN- 5.5 Off-white to white | Lot #13032 | Heritage Auctions (ha.com)

there's got to be polls somewhere of what people feels is worse from MC to tanning(or fading) to miscuts to PQ
-
I feel like there's a few 5.5s missing on here. There was a few months where a few 5.5s were going for mid 50s
-
fwiw when 6.5 were spiking in june, those were cream to ow too. I think bad chipping is worse than PQ most of the time. the 5.5 that sold right after sold for more than other 5.5s lately too despite OW pages and more tanning

After the initial typical intro, "if i know the party's extension you may dial it at anytime to leave a message, otherwise please listen to the following options: employee directory press 1 to hear menu again press 2." If I press 2 it will repeat the that over again. What if people do not know the extension or employee directory? The current options are pretty thin given that message.
