  1. Is there a specific email address we should send the labels to? And should we scan both sides and send, or just the fronts? I have a pack of about 15 from books that have been cracked open over the last year or so. Thanks!
  2. @NickiO CS Some additional pics. The left side seems to be sealed normally, but the right is just…open.
  3. @NickiO CS Still no scans. More problematic though was opening the package yesterday to find this: I don't necessarily mind that the book is off center in the holder (my other copies of this book from CGC is centered fine, but whatever protects it best is fine with me), but when I picked the book up the entire right side of the case opened up. Nothing cracked, it just seems like it was never glued together on that side. Everything inside is fine, the inner well seems intact. Anything I can do?
  4. @NickiO CS Thank you so much! Do you know if this book was imaged? Usually I can see when they show up using the verification tool, but this one doesn’t seem to have any images. I might just need to wait longer. Thank you again for your help you all are amazing
  5. I have a High Value book that went to Quality Control status on Monday 12/4, but I had an old credit card on my account and so the initial charge didn’t go through when it was tried that night and it didn’t move to shipped. I called and updated and it was charged on 12/6, but it is still in Quality Control. Usually I’ll have books come out of QC within a couple hours and never longer than 24, so I wasn’t sure if anyone else had experience with this? If there’s a charge issue does the book get put at the back of the shipping line again or placed somewhere else? Just wondering how long I should expect with the charge issue. Submission 4348248 thank you anyone for any insight!
  6. I’ve had a UV submission sitting in G/E/I since 11/15–doesn’t seem like too long but with unlimited value usually estimated at 2 days I wasn’t sure if it was the move or just back-up or if there was another issue. Submission 4348249. Happy to wait if needed just wasn’t sure if UV was caught up in the delay.
  7. Doubtful I know, but if you ever decide to sell this copy, I'll gladly pay the Bobby Blue price. That is a gorgeous book, in a beautiful "Stauffer's Animal Cracker label"-red
  8. Looking to have a couple signatures witnessed so hoping someone qualified might be going. I reached out to the con and they said “JSA will be on site” which was…not helpful hah.
  9. It’s been a varied year. Mostly PCH, but I’ve been trying to complete a display of the first comics featuring the classic Universal monsters and their modern series, so picking up these two was a big get, especially the Frankenstein #1 because it’s been on my list for a while and that grade + Pedigree was impossible to pass up. Eventually I’d like a Prize #7 if I can find a nice enough copy, but for now I’m “settling” for this. Similarly, Police Comics #26 isn’t the first werewolf period, but it’s the first cover and More Fun Comics #11 is nigh unattainable for me thus far. In a similar vein my #3 for the year: Detective Comics #135. It’s a Canadian Variant which I’d like to upgrade to a regular copy, but for me has been a tough find in any form.
  10. I’ll take the lower grade Mickey Mouse book off your hands
  11. Thanks for the feedback! Good points on the protection aspect of grading, I’ve got in a mylites2 on a full back in a toploader for now but should get it done at some point. I agree with your points and will be curious how they grade it. That was kind of what I was thinking on the missing piece, but at least it’s on the back. I think id be happy with a 4.5-5.
  12. I’m looking for opinions on my House of Secrets #92. It was a gift from a very generous friend who knew how much this book meant to me. No substantial interior defects to speak of, mostly the front cover and then the unfortunate chunk on the back cover corner. Pages are tight, staples in good condition. I will get it officially graded eventually, but will wait until I can drop off at a con in person. I appreciate the feedback!
