So was he selling the book or running an auction? If his asking price was $350, then why in the world were people offering $450 and $500 for it? And if it were the case that he got an offer from a collector for $500, and his asking price was now $500, why didn't he just complete his transaction for the $500 and be done with it? Makes me wonder what he would have done if you would have said at $350.

Just watch out when Stan Lee signs- Most books come back less 1 full grade even when he signs in front of you. He manhandles book and even if he doesn't then cgc pretends to be smart because it is removed from cgc case that they have to automatically deduct a full grade or at least 0.5. Look at all the examples out there esp on older books. They will maintain same grade on modern but not old stuff. Hence hi grade scarcity on 1961-1964 keys in cgc ss. I am stating a fact not an opinion here. I wish I could roll my eyes harder

Unless I come into an inheritance the price jump from 6.5 to 7.0 can never be justified in my mind. While I would love to have a better copy I cannot move myself to spend 2X or 2.5X for the .5 grade jump. MAybe one day our 6.Xs will see the love 7.Xs get and we can upgrade
