  1. Hello ! I am currently a Premium member (customer number : CS252821) until 5/24/2024, and I am considering upgrading to Elite. However I have questions about that : - let's say I upgrade tomorrow, I guess I will then become an Elite member until 10/13/2024, hence losing more than 7 months of Premium membership ; is there any refund about that ? - whatever the answer of the question above, what are precisely the privileges I will get on my next orders if I upgrade to Elite ?   2. Hello, I have tens of old blue label 9.5 cards (mostly with subgrades) and I don't know what to do with them. Basically the last sales clearly showed that the market does not like the old 9.5s to be rehold, and the old 9.5s with subgrades are suffering a lot from the lost of "transparency" brought by the subgrades. However the last sales of the freshly graded cards show pretty good results. My questions are the following : if I send my old 9.5s to get graded again (so not rehold, they should get a new certification number, right ? And if it's the case, how confident are you for them to get the new GM 10 grade like they would get through the rehold system ? Thanks in advance for your answer. Have a good day !
  3. Hi ! I have few old GEM MINT 9.5 cards and I would like to get them reholdered in the coming weeks. I know CGC used to change the certification number for every rehold with the old label, but is it still the case now ? Basically, if I want to rehold my CGC 9.5 Pokemon Trophy Kangaskhan (https://www.cgccards.com/certlookup/4244382001/), will my card keep the same certification number or will it be renewed ? I am asking that because I would love my old GEM MINT 9.5 cards to all have following/homogeneous certification numbers Thanks in advance for your answer. Have a good day
  4. Hello, I am writing you because I have questions about one of my card with the current status "Grading/Quality Control". The submission number is #4265313. When I look at the name of the error you put for that card, it says "Insufficient Ink". The problem here is that I don't really understand this denomination. In fact, for me, it's much more an additional holo layer on the top part of the card + holo bleeding on the Pokemon than an "insufficient ink" issue. Hence, could you please verify if it's not an error and, if you consider it's not, explain how do you consider that as an insufficient ink issue ? Thanks in advance for your reactivity. Cheers,

Hello @NickiO CS After having a closer look to the cards, it seems like there is a small issue for one card in the 4244379 submission : https://www.cgccards.de/certlookup/4244379002/ In fact, this submission was dedicated to error cards, including that one, but it is said nowhere on the label. As you can clearly see on the online scans, there is an additional holographic layer on the top part of the card, which is very uncharacteristic. Can you confirm that this is a type of card you usually label as error (and how you name it ?). And if yes, what could be done from your side for that card to be properly labeled ? Thanks !

Hello @NickiO CS It seems like some of my cards were graded today or yesterday as Submission Tracking status is now "Shipped" and I can see the results of them all I am very happy about the Trophy Kangaskhan which got a 9.5 overall, however the name mentionned in the submission #4244382 and in your online certlookup tool is wrong as you can see here https://www.cgccards.de/certlookup/4244382001/ ; it's currently called Xatu from the Skyridge set instead of "Kangaskhan (1998) Garura Parent/Child Tourn. Prize Holo". Could you please fix that asap so my card appears at the right place in the pop report ? Thanks !

  8. Hello ! Last week-end I attend LeGala TCG in Paris, during which I drop 64 cards to the CGC German team. I have some questions about it : - I just realized that my submission (order #4218072002) has only partially entered the cards submission tracking on my online account. Indeed, online it is missing the submission #4244382 (see attachments) which contains the master piece of my collection, a PSA 9 Pokemon Trophy Kangaskhan Family Event japanese which I would like to get WalkThrough crossgraded. Can you confirm that you did not lose that card ? - As I said, I submit 64 cards at LeGala TCG last Sunday... the fact that some submissions already appear online mean that you have already received the cards in Florida ? Or are they still in the German office ? - I haven't paid anything yet. When will I have to pay ? - I know the German team will come back in a month for another parisian event, which will be the Paris Card Show (https://www.cgccards.com/news/article/11515/paris-card-show/). Do you think it would be feasible to use this event to bring me back at least the freshly crossgraded Pokemon Trophy Kangaskhan Family Event card ? Thanks in advance for your answers

Hello, I got my 2 submissions back few days ago (submissions #4177676 and #4177677), I am pretty happy with the grades and very surprised how my cards went back, however after a close inspection it seems like that 14 of my cards (over 55) are encapsulated inside what I consider as damaged cases. Indeed, these 14 cards exhibit "blurry" areas when the light comes from a given direction, and even one exhibits a clear impact on one edge. Nothing is on the cards, the cards are not damaged, it's only on the cases. In attachment you will find all the pictures I took to show what I am talking about (sometimes there are 2 pictures for one card). Do you know what causes that ? Is there any support for such issue and what can CGC offers ? Thanks in advance for your answer. Cheers,
  13. Hello @CrystalM CS Thanks for your answer, even though the entire process for a non-US resident to send you cards is definitely not clear at all. I have contacted the CGC support in the meantime and I got the EXACT same answer than the one received here from @MattM CS ... hence not helpful at all. So it would be good to update that copy/paste message by clarifying in details the process, especially in terms of documents needed because maybe you don't know but FedEx do NOT proceed to temporary exportations by themselves. Anyway, on the parcels you will sent me back, I hope that there will be a form (or something) mentioning that it is a return of a temporary exportation, right ? Because I have hired someone, a forwarder, who filled a temporary exportation form (put on the FedEx parcel, which you should receive Tuesday) to send you the cards, so I hope you do the same for me to not pay import fees on the value of my own cards. Because as I said I am okay to pay import fees on your grading services (here $2,590), but not on the declared value of my own cards (here $20,200). Thanks in advance for your answer.

Just a short message to tell you that I am waiting your answers about all the process of shipping from Europe/France because it is pretty unclear so far, especially because temporary exportations are not feasible with FedEx and they would not recognised such a thing from another carrier. I really need to know what you expect in terms of documents and what you will do/declare for the return, otherwise I will have to cancel my order. Thanks @MattM CS !

Can you confirm that if you receive cards WITHOUT the form, you will : - put claim stickers on the return shipping box (what are these stickers and what are their purposes ?) - declare ONLY the grading of the cards, in my case 2.590$ - mention that the cards inside where shipped to the US for evaluation only before returning back to the country/owner of origin. Also what do you mean about special duties and shipping charges ? In my order I paid 200$ for the return, do I have to pay for something else ? Thanks !

For your information, my order has the following # : CGC0567459653 Now, I have another problem. I called FedEx and they told me that they would not recognised any temporary exportations and that I would not benifit from any "import fee free returns scheme" (sorry if my translation is not perfect, it's a direct translation from the french just to say that I should not pay any import fees on objects that come back to me after being evaluated) and hence will have to pay import tax on the declared value of my cards (20.200$) + your grading services (2.590$) no matter which carrier I choose to send the cards to you. Obviously I don't want to pay import fees based on the declared value of my cards. Can you please tell me what precisely is your policy for the return ? Which international carrier would you recommand me to use to send you the cards ? And what will you declare on the parcels for the return ? Thanks again ! Cheers !
  17. Hi there ! French customer here I have a serious question here, since this will be my very first submission. I have completed eveyrthing, I will send 55 cards for a total order of 2.6k$, and the total declared value of my cards are 20k$ (yep, that's a lot). But just before paying I saw something mentioning import fees ... and I freaked out a bit To make it clear : will I have to pay import fees ? I guess it's yes and I will have to pay them once the cards will come back in Europe, but will it be on the 2.6k$ purely related to grading, or is the declared value of my cards also taken into account (so basically 20k$+2.6k$ = 22.6k$) ?   18. Hello guys, french Pokemon collector here It's first time here, and it's also the first time my brother and I want to send some of our cards to CGC ... so we have some questions : 1.) We would like to send two submission forms, one for my brother and one for me, because we basically want to send the same cards (the French base set 1st edition holos) and we don't want our cards to be mixed up during the gradation. However, we also would like to use the same shipping box to minimize the shipping cost. So the question are : (i) can we use the same shipping box for our 2 different submissions ? (ii) if yes, will our submissions be sent back together or in two separate shipping boxes ? 2.) Some of the cards we want to send are already graded by CGC (8 cards actually, over 60 cards in total), but without subgrades. Because we want all our cards to get graded with the subgrades, how does it work for these already graded cards ? Do we send the cards as is and complete our submission forms like if there were non-graded cards ? 3.) I also have 2 cards I just want to be recased (because old labels and there are some scratches on the cases). As far as I understand what is written on the website, it seems like I have to do a unique submission for these 2 cards. Do I understand it correctly or am I wrong. If I am wrong, how does it work ?
