Yeah post counts, you've only been around 4 months with 2600 posts.WOW! 1300 of which have ended up quote in the Out Of Context thread And 98% of her posts happen when she is at work. Neither one of us really touch the computer much when we're home together.

People worry about this too much. I keep my comics in a cool dark closet, smoke free, and my good stuff in mylars and mylites boxed. Best I can do and I'm sure my comics are going to outlive me. Comic paper longevity is crazy long compared to other hobbies. Try collecting foam latex movie props as I used to do. This stuff starts rotting in a decade no matter what conditions you keep them in. In comparison, I just don't worry about my comics. I do the best I can for them and everything is in great shape.

At one point in Mallrats? Have you ever seen it? The entire movie has comic as a backdrop. Broadie is an obsessive comic collector in the movie. I love that movie. Broadie's humor is hilarious! I always thought he made it cool to be into comics.

If the page quality wasn't White pages, I think there would be a problem with the paper Haven't seen too many brand new books with off-white pages haha Nice score

I didn't know this thread existed till now. Having a lot of fun looking back on all the posts. I had the idea that my next focus would be to work on a Tales from the crypt run but it's hard to ignore all the other similar EC horror titles. I might just have to focus on my favorite covers to start! Crime suspenstories #22 is my favorite of course. Looks like I'll be hunting one down at the Boston con in a few weeks.

Ya no one said you have to leave them in the slabs. Some people like it, some don't. I buy comic books plain and simple. Sometimes they happen to be graded, especially buying online. Makes it easier sometimes. Get rid of a lot of worry.

Got this X-men #30 this week for my run. I just love it. Great colors! USAF Mildenhall collection book with COA. Got a couple more this week including a #37 in similar grade at the Outer Limits in Waltham for 19$!! I've gotten my best deals there. He has a lot of high grade left for me to buy every couple weeks I stop by.

WOW....both my girlfriend and I saw those and our jaws dropped immediately. Very nice books! Awesome X-men as well! I dig the reprint run! I keep passing on high grade cheap reprints at shows because I am diligently looking for X-mens I need in 1-66...but sooner or later I'll have to pick them up!

Wow that's pretty incredible it went for 200 issues. That's a pretty big feat for a video game comic i'd think!

183 was more the one I was referring to!!! I don't think I even have a copy of that anymore. Just love that cover! When I do a Daredevil run I can finally pick up that book. Need to finish X-men 1st and hopefully by the end of 2010 I can start Daredevil!

My newest score! Very happy with it! It has a lot of non-color breaking stuff so I think it's going to be pressed and resubmitted. It was a gift and i'd never sell it, but it would be cool to see a 9.0 on the label in the future! I have a ton of punisher books. Need to organize my collection and get everything catagorized and seperated. When I do i'll post some cool ones I have! My favorite Punisher covers are his first daredevil covers! Always thought those were sweet!
