  9. That's a super copy. There was a copy with mask on ebay over the weekend going for about £45 and one going for half this. Both BIN's I think. You got the rest of the run too?
  10. I used to buy them probably as much as the real Marvels but I don't remember keeping them. I must have read them and thrown them out. The earliest series I remember is Captain Britain and then later the Hulk issues that coincided with the TV series which I also loved. There are still plenty of them available but difficult to find with free gifts still intact.
  11. Nice story. Of course in England we had our own prices on the covers or stickers on the DC's. It wasn't until I picked up my first Overstreet in '89 that I discovered these variants.
  12. Nice pence copies - love the Hulk. Nice condition for a 9d copy - not many of them around compared to cents copies.
  13. Between 1 - 100 I like the covers where is fighting another superhero: 7 Subby 12 Ka-Zar (24) 16 Spidey 30 Thor 43 Cap Not saying they're all keys but cool covers
  14. Thats cool. I would love to see the book I kept back in the 80's where I listed my collection. It's long gone though.
  15. Partying up and down various nightclubs (and motor way service stations) back in 1990/91 was not wasting my youth Andrew
  16. Belfast was one of favourite tunes back when I was a raver
  17. Yeah, anyone know the cover artist?
  18. I'll be checking that one out. Not sure that Winstone (who I like as an actor) is right to fill John Thaw's shoes, but he's always worth a watch. As long as they don't let Danny Dyer within a 100 mile radius, it might just turn out ok. +1 The man is a joke Plan B might be interesting
  19. They are doing a Sweeney film. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0857190/
  20. Interesting comment MCJ. I always thought that Stan would have been opposed to the war (in opposition to Ditko) but he did write a lot of anti-Communist stories. I have heard that one of the reasons why he fell out with Ditko was over a shot of protesters (against the war?) and they both wanted Spidey to say different things - Stan wanted Spidey to support them and Ditko the opposite.
