  9. No, it's really from 1945. If you think about it though it's not much more risque than some of the Brundage Weird Tales covers and this was put out by and circulated among fans of those earlier pulps. Jeff

  11. Keep an eye out on ebay - it does come up from time to time and is usually fairly inexpensive. It seems to be pretty common for what is basically a high budget fanzine.
  12. Here's a fun little recent pick up. This fanzine booklet from 1945 is one of the first times that Howard's work appears in book form, with his story "Garden of Fear" getting top billing. Also, it contains the Lovecraft story "Celephais." While "Garden of Fear" was not originally a Conan story, Roy Thomas and BWS of course converted it into one for Conan #9:
