  1. Has this been verified by CGC?? I have the same exact problem with a Fantastic Four #57. Top Staple was never in the book. No holes. I need a guarantee from CGC on this prior to submission.
  2. So I have a fairly unique question for the forum boards. I have a Fantastic Four #57 that is missing the top staple. - Now, to qualify this statement. The staple did not break, fall out, etc. It was NEVER in the comic. There are no holes on ANY of the pages, including the cover, around/where the staple SHOULD have been placed when the comic was printed. So my question is this: Does this affect the grade determined for the book? Other than the staple missing, the book is virtually flawless. I haven't ever seen one in this condition. It is beautiful. Obviously, the answer to this question will determine whether I submit the book. Thanks in advance!
  3. Sounds like your nephew is trying to pull one over on you. There is both a physical copy of the inventory you submitted, as well as an "emailed" copy of your submission. - at least that is what I have from previous submissions at CGC booths at shows. Hope that helps.
  4. Yeah - the corners are going to get you. 9.0 - 9.4
  5. 3.5 - maybe. More likely 3.0. Put it in a shiny binder and pray for the best. ;)
  6. General Rule: If there is a "Visible Flaw", it will affect the grade of the book/comic.
  7. My first impression after viewing was 3.0 to 3.5 - so I would concur with the other posts.
