  1. Way to go on the Pep 49 Steve! That's one of my all-time favorite Archie covers.
  2. So happy to finally just have any copy of this book! Thanks again Steve.
  3. I recently purchased a book from Tom. Excellent communication every step of the way. The book arrived well-packaged and in record time. Tom is a gentleman and a pleasure to do business with.
  4. Love these books, dawn of the comicbook as we know it, Me too Jack (thumbs u I've got a little pile of them & they're fun. not too expensive & show a cool snapshot of the time period. I agree they are a great backbone series of the dawn of comicbooks.... He is a smattering of early numbers.......many had different cover for back cover.....neat and inexpensive books.......jb Like you and Jimbo, I love those early Famous Funnies. I tried for years to complete them all, but was never able to do it. The #1 eluded me and eventually I tired of the quest. I will admit Billbo, there's a certain ........ serenity that comes from just buying what comes my way & not trying to complete the run. Ideally it'd be fun to have a complete set, but I could say that about nearly every comic title I'm with you Jimbo. I'm doing a little of both now. Some runs I don't want all of the books. Others I do. We're fishin' the same pond my friend I've got a soft spot for a few of these myself. Here's one that seems like about the right time to share, give or take a day. Happy 80th birthday, FF #6.
  5. Nicely done, guys, on both the Cap and MM 15. The depth perception on the MM cover is very cool. On the Cap, while my eye always goes to the bottom of the scene first, it's also one of my favorite cover drawings in the run of just Cap himself.
  6. Nice pickup! I wouldn't have been able to resist it either. I know I don't see that one every day.
  7. Belated congratulations and nicely done on both, Damian! From my vantage-point, I can't think of any Fox issue I'd prefer over a Wonder Comics #1.
  8. Holy smokes Steve! Didn't you already have a pretty nice Jackpot #9?
  9. The Zip 3 is now in a far better place. Here's to happy endings! (thumbs u
  10. I really like a lot of the Avon Strange Worlds title. I was at the show for a little bit on Saturday, saw that book, thought about it for a while, decided to maybe come back for it later, and then got sidetracked by a couple MLJ Blue Ribbons at Terry O'Neill's booth. Glad to see at least it didn't leave town!
  11. Agreed. Although I have a sneaking suspicion the type of guy who can post a Zip 26 here might also be able to produce a Hangman 8.
