Yes, but eBay sales of slabbed books show up on GPA and the sales you mention for 9.0's aren't there How often is GPA updated? Seems like it only takes a few days Yeah, it's pretty fast. From ebay, GPA almost certainly gets data in an automated fashion. Heritage might be a manual data dump. Do Greg Reece's sales turn up there? I don't think any of the major dealers report to GPA anymore. Can't say that I blame them. It just doesn't make good business sense for them to report.

day 15 not including weekends>>>5 day Magazine Express Submission receive Aug 18 was told it will be ship to me by Friday 9/5 no email receive or imaged. From experience, magazine submissions can be unexpectedly longer than normal. It's the encapsulation. I was told they have to stop and re-calibrate the machine for the larger slab size. Of course maybe they now have more machines ?

I know, it's frustrating. However, to expound upon your burger at a restaurant analogy, ever notice that when you go inside to order at a Fast Food establishment, the priority is given to the Drive Through. Just to be argumentative: How is that true? They typically have only a single dive through window but three or four registers inside. Inside is a lot faster. Though they have 3 or 4 registers did you ever notice that 'usually' only one is open. I do think they give priority to getting the drive through orders out the window to keep the queue lines down. Real story: I was inside waiting for my order while they were making fries. When the fries came out they quickly scooped all of them up for the Drive Through orders. Everyone inside had to wait for the next batch. Grrrrrrrrrrrrr.

When I first started submitting to CGC, back in the 2006/2007 timeframe, there was no Fast Track, there was no 5.00 tier charge, a CGC membership got you 20% off, you could call and talk to a grader about the notes, Quality Control was excellent, and the turnaround times were fine. What happened ?

That makes no business sense. Also, people like onsite grading. That would be a very unpopular decision. It will never happen.

Give it the grade you think it deserves, and stick by it. That's the grade on ebay, that's the grade in a sales thread on the Boards, it's the grade in PIF/TGT, it's the grade in this thread... Then you can have whatever kindly return policy you want. +1 What Speedy said. If all else fails, grade it, drop it half a grade to be safe and move on. I don't like the sound of 'grade it whatever you want and have a kindly return policy'. That's not how it is supposed to work. I would simply say tighten up your grading. Don't give it the highest grade possible, give it the safest grade possible.

In CGC's defense they just had an onsite grading week in Chicago and now another one in Baltimore. Not only do you lose those two weeks you also lose the Monday following each of those onsite weeks. There was also the Labor day weekend, another lost Monday. 15 Days = 15 business days, not calendar days. Count the business days that they were in the office and see what you get.

With this new addition I am now complete through issue 19. I need issue 20.

You really have to show a pic to get a good answer. Page Quality, centering, eye appeal all factor in to the price. Not just last GPA.

I see you have a 9.0 OW also ! I just looked at the census and there are only two 9.2's graded higher. I didn't realize it's a tough book.
