  1. Thanks for the information/history lesson, much appreciated! I've seen some other UK price variants, just never with the 1/- before...Really appreciate you taking the time to answer my question. Learned something new today! Have a good one! ..Jon
  2. Hi everyone, I found this issue of Iron Man, but instead of having the 15 cent price it shows " 1 / - " ....Can't seem to find any information on it. Anyone know if this was some type of error/variant + would it make it significantly more valuable than the regular version of issue #21 (1969)? Thanks! ...Jon
  3. Hi guys, Just a quick question regarding shipping....Let's say you have a comic book that sells for $100,000-$150,000+...What would be the best way to ship that book safely with full insurance coverage and actually feel half way comfortable while its en route to its new owner? (I know some carriers have limits on insurance and others have restrictions/fine print that you have to be careful of (Ex. USPS Priority mail in regards to coins/silver/gold items)). Would UPS Parcel Pro be the way to go? This is just a hypothetical question; but seeing some of these grails selling at auction for BIG money; I can't imagine how nerve racking it must be for not only the buyer but the shipper as well... Thanks!...Jon
  4. Here are a few more pictures...I actually inherited my father's collection about a year ago when he passed away. There are about 10k books in total (Golden age to present, horror magazines etc)...I sold a few short boxes already, but decided to sell the rest via my website/Ebay to try and get the most money for what is left (he didn't leave us any insurance policy, just a lifetime's worth of comics and other stuff lol)...My knowledge is nowhere close to what his was, so I'm learning as I go. Thankfully he did teach me a few things, but with the amount of time it takes to research, grade, take pictures and list these books it is becoming a full time job. So far, so good - except for the Ebay fees and future taxes owed on sales haha.
  5. the back cover is actually blank (white) and there a multiple mini stories inside - Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, etc.
  6. I have an Ebay store + on my website: bricksandbamboos.com https://www.ebay.com/usr/bricksandbamboos
  7. Hey everyone! I came across this book, but can't seem to find any information on it. It's a low grade golden age book and the inside pages have Walt Disney Characters/stories...Would anyone happen to have some more information/how much it would be valued at in a low grade (1-2.0..beat up copy, but covers are attached and all pages are present)? Thanks! ...Jon
  8. Hi there comic fam!! I inherited over 10,000 comic books from my father (he passed away in 2020) and have recently started listing some of them on Ebay. While Ebay has been a great platform; it does have its downside (fees, taxes, etc). If you want to check my listings out (will be adding more books daily) my ebay page is: https://www.ebay.com/sch/bricksandba...1&_ipg=&_from= or bricksandbamboos.com I'm open to all reasonable offers & please feel free to shoot me an email if you're interested in anything (multiple items purchased will have combined shipping) or if you are looking for a specific title/run. If large purchases are made OFF OF Ebay, I can offer you a better deal! Email: bricksandbamboos@gmail.com Happy and excited to join this wonderful community! Peace & Love - Jon
