  1. Nice, keep them coming. Another idea would be some villians - Thanos, Galactus, Evolutionary, etc. Venom is in that vein.
  2. Thank you for sharing. I've seen the 2nd video plenty of times but not the first. Glad to see Stan's endorsement as well. Looks like the main themes across both videos are painter's tape, alternate stacking to keep everything as flat as possible, and secure for shipping to protect spine/edges with lots of padding around all of it. I just sent in 70+ and definitely took my time with it. Best, NC
  3. Admin, I like the shipping tracking available now. I don't recall seeing that before. Nice that you can put in the FedEx and see it's received while waiting for the submission to be processed. Thank you, Fantastic Firth
  4. So has CGC chimed in on this? Blue tape & tabs = great advice, stacking back to front and vice versa so spine's don't align = great advice, etc... I would love to know what the volume players are doing that CGC specifically likes. I've seen video's on leaving flaps open to make it easier for CGC to process and bagging backwards or with the flap on the back. Watching the CGC video's there are some common sense recommendations but seems like there are steps that aren't emphasized like leaving the flaps open vs. taping.
  5. My 2 cents - Please revise the scoring system to simply match the score. So a 9.8 gives you 9.8 points, a 7.0 gives you 7.0 points, etc... This way you are rewarded but not overly rewarded for higher grades but can compete with complete sets which drives more "collecting" behavior. As an example: My Marvel Preview set as an example should be ranked much higher than those entered based on all 9+ and almost complete. One key 9.8 shouldn't set you at the top for registry. The reward for rare highly graded keys is the price they bring. I think this is why you have limited participation on registry. Many collectors don't see the value in adding their information when they get ruled out by one 9.8 comic in another incomplete collection. And my suggestion would still give a full 9.8 set the win and if there were multiple all 9.8 sets you could reward for content to break a tie or just give the tie to two great collectors. To elaborate: There are 25 entry opportunities for Marvel Preview. My mix of 9+ would give me a set score of 224.5 while someone with all 9.8 & one 6.0 would score 241.2 given there are 25 opportunities to score in this set. And if someone collected all 25 at 9.8 they'd win at 245 points. I feel the CGC scoring system for registry is broken. It's a great opportunity to bring more folks into the fold if changed. The example being.... my mix of 9+ would give me a set score of 224.5 while someone with all 9.8 & 1 6.0 would score 241.2 given there are 25 opportunities to score in this set. I'm sure I'm not the first to suggest another strategy around scoring and I hope the collection & registry team takes this to heart and makes a revision of some sort. Thank you for your consideration, NC
  6. After reading the CGC article and watching the promotional video, my spider sense kicked in from the "Fantast." I went back through my auction purchases and found one with a Fantast Certificate. When I picked up Incredible Hulk 102, 9.0 it came from Heritage with the Fantast Collection Certificate signed by Darren Watts. So this has been in the works for awhile and they are out there, minus the new CGC Fantast label. Picked it up fall of 2022. Graded in 2021 by CGC. I'm curious on how many may have been sold from 2021 to present to raise some of the initial funding.
