Ironically, one of my buddies who primarily collects golden age comics already gave him Kenny's info. I contacted him on instagram about half an hour ago. Thanks for backing each other up. I'll totally be sure to mention you guys when I do eventually talk to him. Keep in mind, I'm not sending ANYTHING for a good while since my book will be locked up in evidence for a while.

Thanks so much. I'm looking to see who can actually do restoration on my book now that i'll be getting it back. I had to save up for quite a bit to afford getting the restoration done so i'm hoping I can get a good deal somewhere. Especially considering I'm down a couple of grand.

I can totally see that. I have bought stuff from them from time to time. After this, they definitely get a huge check mark in my book. I still can't believe my book was found. It's in absolutely terrible condition, but at least now, I can get it properly restored. On that note, does anyone know a good restoration expert? My book needs a massive amount of work.

Mycomicshop has my book! It's going to be submitted into evidence in the case and then returned once the case is over.

I don't know if this helps, but this is a pic I received from Mike back in 2022 in regards to some books that he was restoring. I don't know if this has been posted here or if these are anyone's books.

Ok, I just submitted a case with paypal since I paid him goods and services. Keep in mind this was just over 3 years ago so I don't know if they will be able to do anything, but I'm trying anyway.

Thanks for that. I paid Hero by paypal goods and services so i'm going to try calling paypal tomorrow. Hopefully they can do something, but it's been about four years so i'm not sure....

Hey all, I did not see my book on his ebay page or on mycomicshop. Ebay doesn't show any results for any books and I can't see any past auctions for mycomicshop. I contact the police dept after the article came out and am talking with them now. Can anyone provide any info?

Thanks so much for the advice all. I'm hoping my case brings the total up to a new level. I paid this guy thousands of dollars to restore a very old book and......nothing. I doubt I would get what I paid back, but I want the book to go elsewhere and try and get it restored from someone else.
