  1. This one's very similar, but I recall the final page of the story ending with an illustration of the half boy/half frog hiding behind a log in the swamp. The picture really unsettled me as a kid, and of course now I want to see it again!
  2. It was an anthology type comic with several stories, I'd guess from 1975 or so. I'm think it would have been DC or Charlton, as I know I had a lot of those as a kid. I did have some Gold Key books as well. I've been slowly buying old issues with familiar covers, but haven't found that particular story yet. I remember it being in color.
  3. It had a story about a boy who just wants to spend time out in the forest with his frog and lizard friends, in order to avoid his abusive mom. She kicks him out of the house and he turns into a weird frog/human thing out in the swamp. Does this ring a bell with anyone? When I search for keywords I get a thousand results for "Swamp Thing," but it wasn't that.
