I heard DiceX moved over to the other guys, and hear off-and-on about others. But was curious to where Brock from Columbia Comics ended up? Might have just been as simple as he got out of comics, but I thought it'd be an interesting thread to start regarding some of the older boardies that moved on. I mean, is CAL still lurking?

I lost my Dad two years ago now, and there isn't a day that passes where I don't think of him and miss him. Cherish them while you can
I lost my father on June 26, 1981, and that day will be the 40th anniversary of his death. A day that just cannot be erased from the memory banks.
Happy Fathers's day to all you Dads out there. A father is soooooo important in the development of children there are no words to emphasize that crucial need.
The Father is the Sturdy Rock of stability and direction for all families.

I'm still trying to figure out what this has to do with Socialists.
You have not the background history of the miscreants here versus CAL to understand.

There’s more than an hour left. Don’t give up hope yet.
He only has 17 hours left to pay - he ain't gonna pay.
He has a secondary eBay User ID with an underscore and a feedback of only 195.
No Selling history at all, so he does not have to worry about getting his Selling Listings
deleted via possible suspension pounded down by unfair FeeBay.
I will take this oddball item to Heritage where it should sell easily.
CAL been at many a rodeo....

Methinks you are missing the foundation of the past WARS here....
If you know of a way run it past me, and I will look at your way.

Have you asked for evidence of this?
No I never needed to ask evidence of this.
They would type a full page of whineyville, then close their
request with these outlandish dedications of who they pledge
their honesty against, for collateral(?).
Trust me this is the best way - just outright BLOCK them.
Hopefully a few sane Boards here "get this"....
CAL who always has "gotten it"

I already started the pile to take to Beverly Hills Tuesday. Tired of daaackingn around....

I started to Block the Bid Retractors as well.
Don't let them off-the0hook - they will PM/email you begging to be removed and will swear on their grandkids graves that they
will pay - they won't.
I had a hard time years ago with "robtothec" he kept buying my IMSMs and would not pay. I gave him
a 2nd chance as he had a surprisingly high eBay Feedback score( slightly higher than mine at that time).
Buys again then starts to return game - not as described. I know he frequents this Forum and if he does not
see this post Stu & others( I know who they are) will contact him and tell him.
So today I have ANOTHER slickster who thinks he is going to out-slick CAL:
"boomverse".
And for you Socialist clowns out there that want your "proof" as CAL's words are no good:

I suspect we'd share practically zero common ground, philosophically speaking, but I enjoy seeing CAL on the boards. It's sorta like if someone set Gary Busey on fire and let him run naked through a nursing home. It stirs things up!
You never know! You are in KY - so we may have more in common than one would think.
Setting Gary Busey on fire running nkd nursing home - what a horrible sight!
But a good description nevertheless!
For some reason when I read this post, it made me think of:
Klaus Kinski, that German Actor in the CLASSIC movie:
Fitzcarraldo
Directed by the great Werner Herzog
You have to see this great masterpiece of Cinema before you die.
CAL the sometimes movie maven....

I do not think it is issues or that Cal acutally has issues, merely the way he communicates. Once you understand CAL, then you get it. Lets take his selection of IM/SB1...it is pure genius. You get two #1's for the price of admission, plus it was a one shot issue which was UNIQUE. Rather than have this issue be forgottern Cal has ingrained in our collective comic book CGC board mind, that there is real value on that issue. I bought that issue off the newstands and thinking how cool it was." Buzz" I disagree Cal us a survivor, a true comc book collector, who not only partisipates on these boards, but does so in a uniquie style for anybody else. With 10 K in posts, Poetry in motion Cal speak*, and the interest he generates, my choice was no brainer to our Hall of Fame. It is time to induct a second member...who amoung you will take up this challenge...and name number TWO......
*Footnote: "Calspeak": I am hoping someone will name me number 6...for" I am a free man and not a number"
My IMSM collecting was the MOST fun I ever had in my life. NO ONE has traded that one particular Silver Age Issue as much as I have.
And I STILL buy/sell/trade and even give them away. I give them away for those BONUS/PROMO sets when buyers win a certain amount of auctions.
Well-documented through PayPal archives how little I paid for them in 2000 - 2005 and the market reflects the increases due to low supply.
The high grades are mostly gone now, sitting in Collections, mostly back East.
CAL still the KING of IMSM and still has a lot left!!!
