  1. Picked up a good copy to go along with my Reader Copy.
  2. I think Batman needs to trade up to something other than a Hello Kitty backpack.
  3. Where was this place? I can't seem to find these places in AZ that Practically give away issues. In Pennsylvania all I find is old sheet music. Or if someone happens to have comics, they're Archies, DELLS, or Gold Keys. Where the hell are you going that you're finding these books for 3 dollars?
  4. I got one from Borders when they were going out of business. Paid 50 bucks for it and love it.
  5. http://www.midtowncomics.com/store/dp.asp?PRID=CLASSIFIED+%231+Midtown+Exc_1329768
  6. The last issue of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Archie series. http://www.ebay.com/itm/TEENAGE-MUTANT-NINJA-TURTLES-ADVENTURES-72-TMNT-Archie-Hard-to-FindLAST-ISSUE-/350953239258?pt=US_Comic_Books&hash=item51b67172da Is this book "really" worth $50.00?
  7. Thanks for the input. I'll definitely post a pic when it comes in. I knew it was going to get a low grade when I sent it in, but the Jeweler thing surprised me because they mentioned it on the label description.
  8. Mine graded at 3.0 (not very high at all), and I'll post a picture of it when I get it back in the mail.
  9. I just got my Hulk #181 graded, and it says "Mark Jewelers Insert" on the label. I knew that was in there because I'd read the comic years ago, but does this make the book more valuable or less valuable? Thanks for any input on this.
  10. I would go if it was close and you can be one of the first people there. Certainly sounds legit. I think it's worth a short drive. Wouldn't hurt to go for a few minutes and check it out.
  11. I found more old sheet music at the antique place I visited today. That's it. Just sheet music.
  12. This book seems like it has legs. Hopefully picking up all four of these covers will pay off in the long run
  13. All I ever find at yardsales and flea markets is old sheet music.
  14. Even Steranko thought the show sucked from a straw. http://www.newsarama.com/19028-jim-steranko-slams-agents-of-s-h-i-e-l-d-premiere.html
  15. I love your collection of books. I thinks it's awesome you have a lot of low grade keys and not one or two high grade ones.
  16. It looks like some sort of Superman 500 variant. What if you took it out of the bag and looked on the bottom of the first page?
  17. I'm glad you liked it. All I remember was saying, "Oh come on," when the car lifted into the air.
  18. Show was mediocre at best. Just made me want to watch Avengers again. I have to admit, a TV about a superhero organization without any superheroes in it is a bit boring.
  19. Apparently the number one criteria for being an Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. is to be physically beautiful.
  20. Those old Captain America issues have the best covers.
  21. That girl seems like she should be more freaked out than she is.
  22. PS4 won last night. Xbox looks pretty lame after Sony's presentation.
  23. Ugh. Shadowcat? Does she HAVE to be in it? Guess so... Its been awhile since I read Days of Future Past... but she was still "Sprite" in that wasn't she ? Yes and she was one of the most important characters in the original storyline. I know she was "important" in the first one, but that doesn't mean she wasn't an annoying character the whole way through. Interestingly, she was the main character of the arc but also the weakest part of it.
