  1. So, if you are a free member you will be asked to pay $25 to make a submission? If that is the case it would make sense to pay for it ahead of time
  2. I know in the past the free subscription would be enough to submit books at NYCC but this year it seems that you need a paid subscription. The web form seems to say that and after a phone call the agent said you would at least need a basic $25 subscription to submit books. Can anyone tell me if that agent was wrong...CGC Staff preferred..
  3. Actually, Just got off the phone and they said you would require a paid subscription to submit books at NYCC either way... BIG CHANGE FROM PREVIOUS DROP OFFS
  4. Well, when I go to the submission page and click Mail In or Show Drop off it gives me an error and shows the need to subscribe
  5. In previous years it seems you could put together your order and pay for it ahead of time so you could beat the lines at NYCC. This year it seems you have to be a member. Now I am wondering do you need to be a member to pre-submit and drop off at NYCC or do you now need to be a member to submit books at NYCC altogether.
  6. Just noticed on the front page that there was a picture of a Tec 27 in 9.2. How long ago was that graded? What a beaut!
  7. So, I have cut back on the number of titles I am collecting but this coming week there are a couple of titles that I have been collecting that will have new releases. What has everyone been doing to fill in the gap of going to the LCS to buy the latest comics? Any suggestions of where to order from? How are the condition of the books when shipped (I am a nut and will only pick 9.8s and will bag and board before getting to counter, then only handle books by myself) How can i be sure the books shipped will be cherry-picked and shipped properly? Boy, that's a lot of questions but I am sure others are thinking same thing I should ask if anyone had any experience getting books from Midtown Comics in NYC via mail?
