I don't think I posted my Westerner #26 yet (probably because grade is just so-so). First Calamity Kate. Doesn't at all compare to the amazing cover of Westerner #27 (posted earlier in the thread). #27 is one of my all-time favorites!

A story with this one. I picked up a file copy many years ago (one of my first "romance" focused titles if I recall). The cover grabbed me with such amazing colors. I took it out of the bag to scan and read, and made a complete newbie mistake by not removing the tape from the bag. Hence my first Golden Age tape pull right smack in the middle of the cover. I've not been able to look at the book since it happened all those years ago...until now. It still frustrates me that I was so careless. Anyway, I was recently able to find another file copy in just about the same shape (prior to the tape pull). So I'm now finally at peace with myself and have a beautiful First Romance #27 to share (and no tape anywhere near it!). New copy first, and old copy with tape pull last:

Speaking of Nazis, I finally found a decent copy of Sarge Steel #3. Cool cover.

This thread deserves a bump. I really enjoyed looking through many of these threads/posts.

Be sure to give Silo a try on Apple+ as well. Without a doubt my favorite series of 2023 and one I simply can’t stop thinking about. Best Apple+ series since Ted Lasso.

I found this one a few years ago for cheap. One of my few lucky finds,

I finally found a Battle of the Planets 1 Whitman. Been searching for a while. Had to pay up for it, but happy to find a nice copy.

War Comics #2 (6 on census) and #4 (9 on census). These are closer to the $500 minimum for a 5.0, but based on what I've tracked (including what I paid for mine), I think these are well on the north side of that threshold.

Not my first MLJ/Archie, but certainly my first contribution to this thread. I’m excited to add Zip 35 to my collection. Not only a cool cover, but first appearance of Ginger Snapp.

I stopped early in season 2, but after that preview, I think I need to catch up. Definitely a nostalgia rush for me.
