  1. It looks like 822 to me, not 823. 822 is Canada. Besides that... fake phone numbers for production companies/agents are very common as they are notoriously hard to find. But the pic does look fake... You are in the film business, aren't you? I was reading about scripts one night on a forum, and happened across a post from a "Tsimanga" which is why I ask. I wonder if Snyder and crew would appreciate all the attention due to this joke, or more disappointed due to bad light it could have on the project. Yes, at times I try. Hell, if Selena Gomez can star in a serious movie, bring in JB.

  3. Who's going to win the superbowl this year?
  4. Tsimanga is the first name of a football player at my hometown school. University of Michigan. His full name is Tsimanga Biakabatuka. Played in the NFL for the panthers. I was always a big fan and have used his name online forever.
  5. Thanks for the awesome Primer book. Bulletproof shipping and surprisingly quick too.... I've done a few deals with this fella, and no worries ever - yee-haw!
  6. It's either that or this: I have to be honest, in my opinion, only the Fantastic 3 is a decent robot cover. The robots in the Action looks pretty "silly" as does the one in the Human Torch and the one in the Startling is just so-so (never understood why it is a "classic" cover). +1,001
  7. Great seller and an easy guy to get along with. Thanks for the SIg Series Star Wars #1... shipped fast and safe. Awesome book.
  8. Thanks for the HIGH dollar book Mike. Great seller and a cool guy 2 boot.
  9. Dear Rick, What's the best way for someone like me ( a collector, not a dealer) to sell two or three long boxes of higher grade copper/modern age books... they are all major titles such as Action, Superman, X-men, Fantastic four, Avengers, etc... and also a long box of higher grade Richie Rich, Sad sacks with dupes.
  10. As far as the C-LINK auctions go for selling multiple copies of the same issue... if you are the seller and you don't like the placement of your book, you can always tell them to pull it and move it to a future auction. They don't force you to sell it in any particular auction.
  11. So CGC can keep the money flowing in from people hoping for upgrades on resubs. I also believe that CGC knows many books are pressed and give 'gift' grades to books in order to keep people's hopes high for upgrades in pressing and resubbing. CGC is all for pressing... it's been a real cash cow for them.
  12. This is a prime example of why I no longer collect HG slabs. This, and many stories similar to this, has happened to me a hundred times over the past 5 years.
  13. Forget the cover... there's a great story inside.
  14. My first ASM #1, and I just got it a few days ago from Greg Reece. I am in da club.
  15. Thanks for all the bags, boards and all that jazz. Great products. Great prices. Multiple orders, never a problem.
  16. I think it was all a timing issue on the second part of the CLINK auction.... I've seen it happen with all of there auctions and it's a good time to buy.. obviously. ... ending 4pm Western time is too early... seeing how about 80,000,000 people are on the west side... Although at times it may seem like a hoard of people going after the books, you don't need a frenzy, all it takes are two people bidding for the same book to drive prices up.
  17. Dale's simply one of the best dealers around... accurate grading, fair pricing. Thanks for all the great books and mega-secure shipping.
  18. Now, that one was mine... The TOS and TTA prehero's didn't do all that great IMO. Hardly any bump in price at all/if any from yesterday on all the books. Maybe people spent their cash yesterday, or, if on the west coast, aren't home from work yet. Either way... lots of relatively good deals just went down... to my chagrin.
  19. You're welcome... but neither of those WM books were mine. WM pre-hero's are the top of the food chain... awesome books. Nice grabs.
  20. ... Some are mine... but the majority of them are not. I just listed all the 50s/60s pre-hero/horror books in the Clink auction for all to see... not just mine. It's better and more impressive to list them all. Makes a better sales pitch ) I've done it many times before.
