  1. Nothing. I was hoping someone saw it for sale somewhere or it was sent back to CGC for pressing and re-grading. I'll do a police report.
  2. I will do that. I have to put in a police report. The comic is more valuable to me than the worth. It was my son’s and he’s really upset by this. He’s never dealt with a criminal before and he doesn’t understand. Maybe this is a good, but expensive, lesson. I have to try to make something good out of this.
  3. I have. I never heard anything back.
  4. Stolen by the witness/facilitator who was supposed to crack it out and witness the pressing. I have a text that it was received and looks great. Then, two months later, this person claims never to have received it. I don't know if it was ever cracked out, this person has it, sold it, or something else.
  5. Thank you! I will do that!
  6. This person was authorized by CGC as either a witness or facilitator to crack a book out and re-submit without losing the signature verification. Just like I had it cracked out to get more signatures on it. I was dumb enough to trust this person so I can understand why you'd think I was dumb enough to lose the signature verification. I don't know what to do. File a police report? If anyone has any knowledge of this book's whereabouts, please let me know. I am a victim here and I'm looking for help from kind, helpful people. I trusted a witness/facilitator and I was victimized. Now I've lost a book very precious to me.
  7. McKinney, Texas. It was actually my 9.0, not the 9.2.
  8. Hi, I sent this book to a person who was supposed to press, send to CGC, and return to me. I have proof that the book was delivered to this person's house. I have a tracking number and text that it was received. When I asked where it was, I was told that it was never received. If anyone has seen or knows of the location of this book, I will offer a reward for its return. SIGNED BY DANIELS, MAYTHEW, BLAKE, MUNCKE & ROUBICEK 8/13/10 & HAMILL, FISHER, KURTZ, PETERSON, BERG & BULLOCH 8/14/10
  9. Probably better through the web site. I don't check here very often.
  10. Bruce Timm will be signing prior to Paul. Probably mid-September. Amy will be at the signing with Paul. If you send in a book to CGC, it will be just for Paul. Only the regular covers and our variants will have the opportunity for multiple signatures.
  11. Amy will be with Paul at the signing. We have a commitment from Bruce for either a few days before Paul signs or a few days after Paul signs when Bruce will be at NYCC.
  12. Paul Dini officially retired from signing a few years ago. Paul has been a family friend for over 40 years. He and my sister attended Emerson College together. They wrote Saturday morning cartoons together in the late 70's/early 80's. My sister created the female Transformers. She also wrote some GI Joe, He Man, My Little Pony, etc. I asked my sister to see if Paul would come out of retirement for this one signing. Once Paul agreed, I asked if he would do a variant cover. He explained that he is not an artist but that he would work with his friend, Amy Mebberson, to create a cover. I then asked CGC to run the signing. They agreed. CGC is collecting the books. Then I saw that the release of the 30th Anniversary Special is coming out about the same time CGC is stopping taking submissions. So, I am buying all of the covers. I also have the Paul Dini Variant and a second variant by the company we created called My Parent's Basement. Our cover is by Brian Level and Jay Leisten. If you submit what you have to CGC, that would be wonderful. If you want to have Paul and other signatures on any of the regular covers and/or our two variants, go to www.myparentsbasementcomics.com.
  13. It must be. Can that one be sent in for signature? I have it in hand and thought it was the right thing.
  14. I got mine with the certificate but still I don't see the name on the pulldown.
  15. Also got it as a Blue label. Everyone advised me against breaking it out of the plastic but it worked out. Thanks GACollectables.
  16. Got it as a 9.8 Blue label and worried every day until I got it back. Thanks NYComics.
