  1. Bought some of the Death's Head Transformer books a while back. Everything came on time and well packed. They are some tough books to care for as they are very thin. Thanks!
  2. Oh yeah..before we moved in my wife kept saying that she was going to get a 37" TV for my room. I knew it was too small and kept telling her that we needed to wait to get in there. We have discovered that all our TVs were too small. The one in my room used to be our bedroom TV. Our current bedroom TV was our living room TV. I'll eventually get a new one in there.. I do have a 63" TV behind my desk I could plug in for the mean time
  3. yeah I know about the painting. The big thing is that with this being a new house the builder will come through after a year and fix settlement issues. The catch is that they will only repaint if it is the original paint. After a year I think we will go through and put some different paint up on the walls all over the house.
  4. My wife and I bought a brand new house and moved in at the end of March. I'm slowly setting up my Comic Book Room. I unpacked my figures and decorations. Still need to hang pictures and paint (ugh). I plan on doing a 3x3 display using my FrameItAgainSam frames on one of the walls. I will probably change out that TV for something bigger. All in all a good start. Wide shot Close-ups of each section: Pic of my desk: I bought a new scanner so I am rescanning my slabs. Have them laid out on the table and on the sofa
  5. I got this commission back in February but I was moving to a new house so hadn't been able to set up my Comic Room and scan the new commission. Set it up when I read on here that Sal Buscema was opening up his list. Green Goblin is one of my favorites from his run on Spider-Man in the 90's.
  6. Here is mine. I got this in an e-Bay auction for a set of Spider-Man #1's signed by McFarlane. This was listed more as an after thought. It is page 2 from the 80's Marvel Try-Out Book that Mark Bagley won to become a Marvel Artist.
  7. I set this up for last year's Baltimore convention. Chrissie Zullo was real easy to work with but she over-booked her commission list. She sent this scan to me yesterday. I really like it and looking forward to adding it to my collection
  8. Comic artist Tyler Kirkham's workspace and Skyrim basement. Pretty cool! http://robot6.comicbookresources.com/2012/12/shelf-porn-saturday-see-where-tyler-kirkham-works-and-plays/
  9. Can't forget Jo Chen. Crazy talented and super nice.
  10. I got them from Ikea http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/70201811/#/80071319 I have two sets at home. The one I took a pic of (4x4) and a smaller one in my computer nook (2x4) . They both are pretty sturdy but the big one feels a little weird if you are trying to move it around. Once it is in place you're good to go.
  11. We bought them at the Container Store. They are on sale right now for $8 a pop http://www.containerstore.com/shop?productId=10017275&N=&Nao=20&Ntt=magazine
  12. Thanks.. the bookcase is in our living room so they needed to look good to be out in public
  13. I dumped a bunch of books and got rid of my filing cabinets... so here are my new Magazine boxes. iPhone photos in my house turns everything yellow.. 7 - 8 slabs fit. 25 - 30 with Mylars and Fullbacks 30 - 40 with Poly bags and regular
  14. I think most people would say ComicArtFans.com as the go to place for OA. Heritage just released an iPad app for their catalog that I really like.. it made it pretty easy to view the OA from the current auctions. eBay is so-so with looking for OA. Like most of eBay you have to sift through a bunch of junk to get to what you want.
