  1. Sure do, Jim Lee Superman page that my wife got me for Christmas many years ago.
  2. Wolverine has always been my favorite character and Silvestri's run is the one that I always consider to be the best.
  3. My preferred method to framing - I like having the cover of the issue it came from as well as the page.
  4. I've only submitted five books from my personal collection. All were purchased at the time of release with the exception of the ASM 300 which I bought in the late 90's for $75.
  5. I have a Bagley page as well as a Mark Brooks page from the first annual .
  6. Sent in my first submission - only sent in 5 books to see how my grading held up. My hope was for everything to be at least be 9.6. In the end, I did not too bad.
  7. So in that scenario, if I claim the 9.6 value then I would have to submit under the express tier or could I still go through the modern tier?
  8. I have submitted books on the boards for sketch opportunities and almost all of them were 9.8/9.6 so I feel pretty confident that they should all hit that range. What would you recommend as an example on one of the books?
  9. This is going to be the first time I submit some books to be graded and would like some advise. Here are the ten books i'm going to be sending: Amazing Spider-Man #238 & 300 Captain Marvel (Vol.8) #14 Incredible Hulk #340 New Mutants #87 & 98 NYX #3 Ultimate Comics Spider-Man (Vol.2) #1 Ultimate Fallout #4 (regular cover & Marko Djurdjevic Variant) Here's what I'm confused about - what do I put for the declared value? I'm hoping for 9.8's on all of them but they could be 9.6 or even 9.4 (I am getting them pressed first). Do I put in what raw copies are going for or do I put in what I think they will grade out as?
  10. I would like to thank everyone who posted or sent me a message - I really appreciate the feedback.
  11. Need a little help - I have owned this page for over a dozen years and I have no idea what it might be worth. I have had some offers recently, but I don't know if it's a bad deal, fair deal, good deal or a great deal. Does any have any idea what a page like this might be worth? It's from Wolverine #50 by Silvestri and it's probably one of the best pages you can find.
  12. Really happy this turned out to be a top 5! And I'm really happy you took the time to get it for me
  13. It changes quite often, but here it goes: My first sketch op on the boards - Doug Mahnke Always loved Mark Texeira's version of Ghost Rider Mike Mayhew goodness Can't go wrong with Clayton Crain Love me some Campbell
  14. Stop on book four! Seriously! It's all downhill from there. After The Shadow Rising the dreaded Jordan idiosyncrasies really start to take over. Ridiculous amount of bickering between men and women, two page descriptions of the threadwork on a dress, endless amounts of Shaido killed in battle, new characters introduced with no resolution of old plot threads, trollocks who can slay bordermen taken down by Two Rivers housewives...it just gets ugly. The first three are some of my favorite books of all time, but the sequels are garbage. He should have stopped at Dragon Reborn, would have been a semi-natural close to the series. That kinda sucks - It came very highly recommended by a couple of friends. I'll give it a few more books as I am enjoying it right now, but if it gets as bad as you say, I'll probably give it up.
