PSA doesn't give subs and they are #1. Although, with their new ownership, ill bet they roll out sub grades within the next 6 to 12 months if not sooner. Just a guess on my part.
PSA is #1, but they just opened the door for someone else to step into it. This is the absolute worst time for them to do this with CCG's pedigree and impeccable reputation. PSA's allure is they hand out 10's like the're nothing. I have seen hundreds of PSA 10's that have zero business being 10s. Their grading system is archaic, but why would they change to a system that would make it harder to hand out 10s like they do?

I doubt many are crossing over, especially from BGS... Simply because it would be a loss of value even if it somehow graded slightly higher.

No it wouldn't. BGS's values are plummeting. All comps I see now show BGS only getting about 30% more than raw unless its a pristine.

My 89 UD Junior card came back ungraded. They slapped a sticker "OVERSIZED" on the penny sleeve but still charged me full price. Considering that I sent it in Express with a Jeter rookie, I wasn't happy. At least when PSA gave me the "MINSIZE" error on the Jeter, they waived the fee.
CSG does not charge for SU cards. They only charge if you try to sneak an altered card by them.

I was curious how the sell values are looking for those who have already sold CGC slabs. I have about 400 cards I plan on having grades some bulk some not with subs. Kobe rookies, Shaq rookies, various Jordan cards, 90s football and baseball star players as well like Jeter and Chipper Jones. Majority were pack fresh to holders.
Plan to possibly try some with pwcc marketplace auctions.
this will be my first time grading cards... but all my research definitely shows PSA the current clear leader for value... was also thinking maybe will have to hold on to CSG for values being sold at to catch more wind.
appreciate anyone’s feedback I do love the CSG slabs I’ve seen with subgrades..
I would avoid PWCC like the plague. They are criminals.

Are they still charging you for SU cards? Seems unfair if they are, as it's not something you did. I can understand for cards deemed trimmed, or altered.
No, they do not charge for SU cards.

I am pretty sure it is value after grading.
how many raw cards do you see for sale for over $100.00?
a lot. Its Fair Market Value. Which means what comps sell for on ebay.

If i did pay for walk though...they would still be sitting in the lobby for the last month. So is it really worth it?
Yes because they open those boxes before any other boxes.

I have a card I have that was graded by KSA grading that I would love to have changed to CSG. I see you state you accept BGS, SGC & PSA... would you do other companies as well?

Got it thanks!

I was going to upgrade my membership from Premium to Elite to take advantage of the 10% grading perk, but the system is charging me the full price for the upgrade at $279. I figured they would charge me the difference from the two tiers.
Can someone explain this?
Thanks!

A 6. Card can't be graded higher more than 1 point over the lowest score.
