It was a record price and I got overbid - but it was bought by another MM completionist so fair enough. The article is not by Grant Morrison - that was a misunderstanding I perhaps created years back (see early part of this thread) when I was first searching for it. Obviously, the cover is by GM though. The article is the 2nd part of one begun in Fusion no.4. It's by a chap called James Clements and is a fascinating feature that I understand was a "big influence" on Grant. Both Fusion no.4 and no.6 had a tiny 300 print run so are amazingly rare. No.4 also has an Alan Moore letter in it. Ironically, no.6 has sold two copies recently on ebay - the one for £316 and one about 2 months ago on a £1 BIN ! So was the Grant Morrison Johnny Bates story ever actually printed?

How about a chat on the Fusion fanzine featuring Morrison's "The Devil and Johnny Bates"? Has anyone read this story? Fusion #6 recently sold for a sum I wasn't willing to pay. The description states that it contains part 2 of the story. Link to Ebay Listing

I'm guessing you got it off ebay from a guy in Italy, right? I did, too. No idea how many he has, but I've never seen them anywhere but from him. Yes, I did. Very cheap from blackrain2004.

Show me more rarities! How about some MM at War? I love the covers I've seen. Here's my latest addition. En Italiano! This thing is huge, approx. 11''x15''. I have no idea how rare this book is.
