  1. I too have always wondered about the "B" Marvel books I've seen for sale over the years. I inquired about it in another topic recently as well. Perhaps Retroheavy is on to something.
  2. You're not wrong on that. Taxes, shipping, and insurance can also add to the price of the book depending on where you get it from. I remember the days when there was no sales tax on these types of items.
  3. Thanks a million for all that eye candy acistaro! Those are all great copies, especially that X-Men 1.
  4. I'd bet we'd all love to see pics of the other big hitter books your father collected! I'm pretty sure I could find a wonderful home for that X-Men 1, just sayin'..... Good luck with whatever you do with the remainder of books you don't keep.
  5. I'm not sure that that Sweet Lou 14's ASM14 book isn't part of that same "food chain" of books. Sure, the "B" looks a bit different, but it's still a "B" written on the top cover. Makes one wonder....
  6. I might not be in the know, but any idea to the letter "B" that's in the upper left hand corner of these two books? I've seen it in other books too over the years, but these two stand out at the moment. Might it be an original owner collection/pedigree of some type? Just an observation. https://www.comiclink.com/itemdetail.asp?back=%2Fsearch.asp%3Fwhere%3Dsell%26title%3Damazing%2Bspiderman%2B1%26GO2%3DGO%26ItemType%3DCB&id=1679213
  7. I also received a message from Kendrick91 to email Arriaga00432@gmail.com about the Hulk 181 I'm looking for. Where in the world did he come from? He hasn't been banned on the boards yet?
