  1. There was endless Supergirl commercials during the Pats game on CBS ysterday. ...and
  2. I wonder if Tom Welling is going to be involved somewhat on this show? OK, OK... Allison Mack. Where's Allison Mack?
  3. Yeah, I was only commenting on how fickle younger audiences are around period pieces. We're talking heroes and villians with no cell phones, the height of the Cold War, no ATMs, no instagram, or social networks, when you wanted money you had to go the bank and fill out a slip (which you still can do), no debit cards. It's just a lot of running around. That would sound too exhausting to this generation and I don't think they would be able to connect with the action. I still haven't met anyone outside of here who talks about Agent Carter even. But, I figure ABC 's parent company just runs a lot of these things as product placements for their movie's mythology for those who want to take the journey at limited cost.
  4. Action/Funnybook movies set in the 60's haven't done so well lately, other than Mad Men (a serious drama), I see a similiar pattern for the small screen as well. My
  5. Actually watched the uncut 1933 original last night. Boy, for the primitive effects, it sure does magically hold up still. Four stars!
  6. I knew someone would say that (thumbs u Problem is I'm still using VHS... I got a little tv/vcr combo at a yard sale this summer to record, for when the power cuts out for a week after a major snowstorm. The generator won't run the big set up I have. Found that out last winter after 96" of misery.
  7. Whoopsie! How can she wear those if she's bulletproof? Unless she had a kryptonite needle or something? hmmmm
  8. You know Tom Cruise would be a great fit for DC movies especially this franchise.
  9. I'm sure we'll find out in 4-5 days by a very reliable source on here. (thumbs u
  10. Shout out to Newton's Rachel Platten. Represent, yo!
  11. I can't wait until whenever it is they decide to show it in the UK... I actually thought I have been missing it. I've been sick for about two weeks.
  12. Nothing to do with the funnybook series or movie trilogy, but if you guys wanted to pick up Nick Redfern's book on "The Real Men in Black" on Amazon, I think you would enjoy the mythology a lot more (there's funky stuff like the Men in Brown, Women in Black, MiB Vampires, etc). ...and good luck with the sigs.
  13. How come both of those choices scare me now that it might be on the El Ray channel. Spy Kids crossover? You throw salt into my open cinematic wound. And it hurts. It hurts! By the way, that's for re-runs only. No Matt Ryan only acting in front of a green screen or an awkward introduction of his occult inventor uncle Machete? That sucks.
  14. How come both of those choices scare me now that it might be on the El Ray channel. Spy Kids crossover?
  15. I gotta dig up my 1933 uncut version and the 2005 Director's Cut to get revved up on this new movie.
  16. Hope you are feeling better. Not as red as yesterday, I guess it's slowly moving out of my system. Not so itchy now. Made a quick run and bought Avengers 2 and a couple Frozen Christmas ornaments. No one noticed my face was pink or they didn't care.
