  1. Yup. I watched The Final Cut again Friday and started to watch the 3 1/2 documentary during the weekend as well. Can safely say, this movie does not need a sequel in any shape or form. There is no way it could possibly stand up against the original and we are apt to get one like "The Two Jakes". Now there have been entertaining sequels that were spawned by classics years later, "Psycho II", but seriously, it's not that necessary to get one either.
  2. To me, it felt more like an Anne Rice story. Especially in the end with the 'And so it begins' scene. Anybody watch Bram Stoker's Dracula recently. WOWsers, that still a great looking movie with no CG effects.
  3. Sigh. There was already a Blade TV show that didn't really work past your typical syndicated action fodder. Despite being on a major network and Disney produced, I don't see this on primetime anytime soon. Especially, with a controversial actor like Snipes in the Mouse House. If anything, it would have to be recast immediately, despite an outcry of Snipes fans.
  4. Nothing music orientated. I have Patriots All-Access on the headphones.
  5. Poor Uncle Ben. I never bought someone would ever have gotten the drop on Captain Willard from the last reboot. My
  6. Just think about it. Eric Draven couldn't have been the only haunted soul wronged in about 2,000 years. The Crow series might explore it's mythology as well.
  7. You also have to admit how quiet the majority of the behind-the-scenes was released on Constantine, compared to this production. It was a "tough sell" to the Heartlands from day one. When cancellation talk was coming, the switchboards lit up.
  8. It just wasn't for me. I thought it was shallow and predictable. But, I never cared for Godzilla or Top Gun either. Ron Perlman and the two arguing scientists were the best parts in a CG dominated spectacle. My
  9. The Turbo-nator! Sorry Bosco. Any movie with Sinbad automatically gets four stars. Especially, if his character is a crazed mail carrier. 'Dems dah rulez. Thanks for playin'.
  10. I've decided RT looks just fine (thumbs u I remembered how the lightning bolt on top his mask used to dangle about as he moved. That costume has been burned in my psyche for about 25 years.
  11. Kate Mara now breathes a sigh of relief as when you googled that term before, the links would immediately take you to her imdb page.
  12. Well... at least he doesn't look like Microwave Man or whatever he was called in the Canadian Superboy series.
  13. I know what you mean... It should be Captain Marvel with "Shazam" being the wizard and the magic word. Always loved the whole Cap/Billy alter ego thing (thumbs u One of the best secret identities in comic books which made for some great stories. I swear it was the inspiration for the UK's very own Bananaman Cast the talented Sabrina Carpenter as Mary Marvel (or even her co-star Rowan) and not some wannabe Lindsay and I'll be happy. The only thing I liked with Shazam in Justice League: War was it was a bunch of kids with the various traits that made up Shazam! Is that a wannabe Lindsay Lohan? I'm a bit out of touch with "current" actresses... I also have no idea who those other people are EDIT: OK I'm up to speed now ... "Girl Meets World" (thumbs u Her brief bits in Horns were great. Their gonna need someone fairly young now before this thing gets eventually made. I'm not too much in tuned to the younger actresses myself, but it's easy to spot the ones that can't act. They are gonna need an "every girl" and an unknown to play Captain Marvel/Billy Batson.

  15. Is anyone not seeing my smilie? Nevermind.
  16. Fantastic Four rip-off. I think I'll stick with the current rebooted franchise, ...thank you very much.
  17. Like The Road Warrior and Thunderdome, this movie is gonna age very well.
  18. Three years is usually my comfy level for sequels. Two years just feels rushed. But, Spider-Man 2 was pretty good in 2004, so we'll wait and see.
  19. No chance, thanks to marketing. Marketing is never reflected in the budget numbers, and for a big film like this you can expect it matches or exceeeds the budget. I figure this thing will piggy back the other Fantastic Four movies and possibly be added into a potential FOX X-Men/FF Blu Ray box set also. This licensed property will be added to every superhero endcap or display for years to come. Don't need much promotion for that, even Waterworld eventually made a profit, eventually. Just takes a bit. ...and I'm only talking about the dvd/Blu Ray format.
