  1. Never liked the thin belt. I actually thought the thick belt in Ale Gazra's Supergirl #11 was perfect. Made her look a little more realistic and not so comic-booky with the crop top. But seriously, let's talk headbands (earlier in the thread). OMG, I have to stop and go watch The Edge for an hour. I'll be back.
  2. I really hope your including me in this, because I've supported her potential positive symbol of "gurl-power" since day one.
  3. Not a viewer of CBS's Criminal Minds (entering it's 11th season) I see. CBS has also sampled kidnapping, torture and human trafficking in other shows last season from Blue Bloods to NCIS to Scorpion to Elementary to Hawaii 5-0 from it's recurring female characters to guest stars. If anything, I wouldn't want to be a female character actor on this network.
  4. I'm gearing for my small-town's annual zombie 5k at the end of October. It's as close to Halloween, I can get as an adult without kids. So, I'm glad the zombie genre lumbers on.
  5. I think many people will redbox these for $1. That's all I'm willing to spend on it. I wouldn't even pay $1for that pile of garbage I'd buy that for a dollar! (thumbs u No seriously, if they are sold at Dollar Tree like the "Rise of the Surfer" remaining discs were, I'd buy it.
  6. Hoping they re-release the show in high def someday. I've always though the current tranfers were somewhat lacking.
  7. Might tell you on Wiki. I'm too lazy to look it up. On my way out to the dump.
  8. This is the stuff I said earlier in the thread she needed to do to better connect intimately with potential fans, like Linda Carter did when she did Wonder Woman. I ran into a 55+ age woman two years ago, still gushing on how wonderful she was hosting her beauty pageant. You can't can't get this kind of recognition posing on a Maxim cover for down the road, Melissa is the real deal. (thumbs u
  9. I'm sorry, but did I miss something? Isn't Cat supposed to be "hot"? For God's sake, give that woman a cheeseburger! Flockhart's always been on the waif side. I've seen pics of her actually being worse. I still think she's anorexic no matter what her PR team says. I often wonder what Lake Placid would have been like if she followed the Ally creator to that project. I love Bridget more, but I figured there would have been more of an Ally McBeal vibe.
  10. So he's heading right for TV huh? I guess this Pan redux is not gonna send him in Jeremy Sumpter superstardom either.
  11. You, sir, are a marketing genius! It might become a cult movie once it hits the "home video" markets (DVD, Blu, Netflix, etc). I'll admit it. I saw Catwoman at least once. Once! I can tell you don't have Virus, RIPD and Superboy: Season 1 in your video library. Don't worry, you soon will. At least Man-Thing had Rachael Taylor in it.

  13. There's so much "flop dust" on that property, they'll have to attach A-List talent to it, to get remotely what they want. Disclaimer: Now, I haven't watched it yet, I'm only commenting on it misfiring at the box-office.
  14. They'll definitely be another regime of executives over there. Which kinda sucks for the filmmakers that had projects greenlit and most will probably wind up in development hell.
  15. Thanks for that visual. I was lost in a corn maze today and that idea just came to me for some reason. I figured it would be a great outlet to get a lot of family drama off their chests. Maybe make Victor Reed's boss at a science lab or something, Sue can be the loving mother to her house of freaks. I don't know there's something about that screams family comedy in a timeslot on Friday night after Last Man Standing, if the rights revert back to Disney someday. It was just a radical idea, that might be able to please the fans again.
  16. OK, now hear me out. I haven't been drinking. What if ABC could develop the Fantastic Four as a half-hour sitcom? Like dysfunctional Roseanne in tights. With cameos by d-list Marvel supporting characters (The Runaways, etc). They can battle baddies while still intergrating with one another in their "home" setting. It could be a groundbreaking translation now that it's really burned it's bridges on the big screen. Just a radical thought.
  17. Hopefully, a lot of you have been lucky enough to pick up The Dark Knight Returns Deluxe Edition. The shear scope of epic documentaries in that one are worth it's weight in funnybook gold alone. :worship: Materpiece: Frank Miller's The Dark Knight Returns, New Documentary Her Name Is Carrie... Her Role Is Robin Documentary Batman and Me: The Bob Kane Story Superman vs. Batman: When Heroes Collide The Joker: Laughing in the Face of Death and so much more. I'm telling you, it took me one week to watch the whole damn thing. WOW!!!
  18. Who can ever forget the featurette of The Crow? Nice profile on James O'Barr too.
  19. Josie and the Pussycats Complete series offered a fun doc, I'm serious The Irresistible Charm of Dan DeCarlo: The Man and his Art-Profiling the Renouned Cartoonist, Illustrator, Archie Comics Veteran and Josie and the Pussycats Creator Through His Art and the Remembrances of his Biographer and Colleagues. That's a big title. ^
