  1. O'Neill Cinemas in Epping has an interesting event based around the movie's premiere in NH where folks can actually meet real-life heroes in law enforcement and other fields. It's all in memory of fallen NH officer Stephen Arkell (who was fatally shot last year and he left behind two daughters). I thought it was a sincere thing to add to this thread and movie in a positive way. Wish I could find a link, that wasn't tied to Facebook.
  2. I remember actually walking out of the theater when I went to the last movie (I think Tom Baker had a small role in it).
  3. So the creepy interview was really Kate Mara's fault. She should have been much more appreciative of the toes focus from the interviewer. Sounds like something a 21st century Richard Speck would say.
  4. I expect lower. You are far too generous. I could see it, if MI5 numbers drop 65+% for it's second week (it will find it's legs on it's third week if it's good as the critics say it is). But, it FF does those numbers expect them to crash in a similiar manner for the following week if it's panned and continue it's descent downward.
  5. They should have gotten the heck out of there right off. side note: I like short-hair on a lady myself.
  6. 'in New Hampshire' I'm getting a lot praise after that newspaper article. Just yesterday the transfer attendant at the dump got me a parking spot right next to the waste bin. I have arrived. Kate if your reading, I'm still single. (thumbs u
  7. Sue Storm's Kate Mara Fun Fact List, Part 3,456! -Her mother's family owns the Pittsburg Steelers and her father's fam owns the New York Giants. -She's currently 27 years old. -She's rumored to like guys who can hypnotize bears. -She's been in various Wizard of Oz productions, yet only playing flying monkeys or the Scarecrow. -She starred with her sis Rooney in Urban Legends: Bloody Mary.
  8. Still have the signed trade w/ print you sent that Christmas a while back. A little fun fact, it was the only thing for me under the tree that year. It (and still does) meant a lot. I'm saving my news stories that I write for a paper for you. I figure it'll give you a good chuckle sometime.
  9. I think someone needs to get the sing-a-long version...
  10. I think someone needs to get the sing-a-long version...
  11. Wow. Sounds like 'Frozen'! Conceal. Don't feel. Don't let it show or something like that.
  12. I was wrong about not liking her her costume at first. She really makes that uniform work. It's a tribute to her acting abilities. Christopher Reeves had that too. (thumbs u
  13. Actually, it appears the reviews from audiences are mixed. Some people love the movie and some people hate the movie. Honestly, that is just about what I would expect from an Adam Sandler movie. Either you like him and his humor or you don't. 59% of audiences so far liked it, which is about standard for an Adam Sandler movie. He must be doing something right; he keeps getting movies made every summer. Every "Top Ten Worst Things in the World" list should include Adam Sandler slotted in somewhere. Sure, there are worse things than Adam Sandler but not many. From New Hampshire with love.
  14. I still gotta pick up the 2005 movie's soundtrack. I collect all of Joss Stone's CD's.
  15. Now that isn't very nice. Ever since Shooter, I always thought Kate was adorable in a younger brunette Jessica Simpson (somewhat more talented ) way. i also thought she was good in shooter. i think she looks great. she may be the only reason i see this movie. If they want an unknown blonde beauty queen that sells Maxim covers, they can get Sarah Roemer! I'll take an Anna Kendrick, Kate Mara, Melissa Benoist, Jennifer Lawrence and even a larger Mae Whitman (The Duff) any day of the week. Those are real women.
  16. I liked the "Immortal" montage of the heroes gearing up montage in Big Hero 6. (thumbs u
  17. I didn't start reading the Ultimate FF until the Marvel Zombie arc with Mark Millar/Greg Land anyway. What was it? Issue #21 and up?
  18. Didn't watch it for puny humans. Give me giant mech suits fighting monsters any day! Sheesh. Kiss the International Box-office good-bye then. Myself, fewer cliches would be nice.
  19. Now that isn't very nice. Ever since Shooter, I always thought Kate was adorable in a younger brunette Jessica Simpson (somewhat more talented ) way.
  20. Well, I'm with you on this, Bosco 'Ol Pal. (thumbs u I like familiar stuff shaken up a bit. Yet they shook up Spider-Man in ASM 2 which was more based on Ultimate Spider-Man. Sometimes change isn`t good, You were a HUGE supporter of Amazing Spider-Man 2. I believe even talked about what a fantastic story it was. Yet that had nothing to do with Ultimate Spider-Man. Unfortunately, it ended up being a story overcrowded with villains, very confusing, yet had so much potential. I would not blame Ultimate Spider-Man for that mess. I thought you said it was a "winner". Just kidding, you probably were referring to the mainstream's reaction to through box-office returns. I thought it was a two star movie. I've seen worse funnybook movies. Trouble is, Webb is a talented filmmaker, but not a popcorn movie maker. Just my opinion. I thought the first one was good (three stars), but assumed they would go with another director for something less personal and more ambitious. I think the studio were the ones calling all the shots for this movie and not Webb and it showed on screen.
  21. Nasty piece of work, that Reactron However it makes sense to have a nuclear powered super villain who would be a good challenge for Supergirl's abilities. I understand this guy was in the running...
  22. Well, I'm with you on this, Bosco 'Ol Pal. (thumbs u I like familiar stuff shaken up a bit.
  23. As an afterthought due to its purchase of Malibu. They threw it out there as a Marvel production as comics were pushed out at the same time under the Marvel brand. But this truly came from Aircel before anyone knew Marvel had a 'hand' in this. OK, I thought it would be a good pricey technicality for the chart. (thumbs u
