  1. Maybe if SONY's next installment of Underworld stalls, they can get Theo James in between Divergent movies. They (Screen Gems) were planning for him to take over the reigns of that franchise from Kate.
  2. (thumbs u This is one back issue that I need to find asap!
  3. Looking forward to all my non-comic reading fans comment how great this show is on Facebook for months, after I've tried getting them to read the book for years.
  4. (thumbs u Haven't seen it in years, I'll have to hunt for that one in my stash.
  5. ME TOO! Even 30 years later, I still tend to use terms like "Streethawk" and "Manimal"... in a somewhat sarcastic manner, of course To this day I can't believe I thought it was cool for an actor to wiggle his knuckles to simulate morphing into a panther or something.
  6. OK, just mix in a little Blue Thunder and dash of Air Wolf and you might have something. But actually, I used watch Street Hawk religously as a kid. I used to have the action figure and bike wind up toy. Believe it or not... "Airwolf Vs Blue Thunder" was movie idea no.2 ___________________________________________________ If you remember Automan, you've watched WAY too much TV... I remember Manimal as well.

  8. I bought the second season a while back on Black Friday. Never made it 15 minutes in. That school needed JK Simmons to teach a music class for sure. "I'm... I'm just not feeling it".
  9. Just finished The Final Cut this morning, with everything so innovative in it, it's so easy to forget how cool Edward James Olmos was in it.
  10. Plus, how could a movie with a sinister Kevin Bacon and a scenery-chewing Jeff Bridges suck? I saw the film 3 times, tried to be as positive as possible, but you can't put lipstick on a pig and expect it to fly, I think the saying goes Twice myself, after the first time I was thinking maybe I misunderstood the tone (maybe not so much Hellboy, but Men In Black). Definitely, not as good as Men In Black II, which was pretty .

  12. He did some solid acting recently as an obsessed dad still looking for his missing daughter after eight years in "The Captive". Hard to believe he joked his way through Green Lantern.
  13. I still say Teri Hatcher gave the best performance as Lois Lane. Looks aside, she played a similiar duality with Clark of being bossy and confident as reporter Lois, yet lonely and needy on the inside. Once the reporters stopped mining that aspect when Superman id'd himself to her, the show lost that edge too, as they were always together.
  14. I love it! Great costume! This show is gonna rock! -Jerel, who just attempted to watch Season 1 of Superboy
  15. Just watched Whiplash with Miles... he's a darn good actor. He can pull this off xxx ooo Rupp Try The Spectacular Now with Shailene Woodley and him next. Not your average teen angst product.
  16. In one of the Modern Books she wears glasses and a wig. I think maybe she does the same deal in The Superman Animated Adventures too. Still hot. She did in the Animated Series and also experimented with the wig and glasses in "Secret Identities" drawn by Ian Churchill (a great issue). I was thinking more along the lines of is this going to be a permanent disguise in the series? You know Clark... those glasses never fooled me I know what you are talking about, but for myself, I think chicks are hot with glasses. Nowadays anybody could just get contacts to blend in, but the ones that don't show the old-fashioned-ness of wearing frames. It's a kind of sexy thing, to show a weakness and obstruct their beauty at the same time. OK, I'm rambling. But maybe the glasses are a subtle way for her to maintain her mortal Linda Danvers persona in her mind to further separate herself from the perfect Kara Zor-El when moving about with the rest of the muggles in the cast, kinda like Caradine said in "Kill Bill Vol 2". Not really a disguise to keep your identity a secret, but a boundary to keep your character in check. OK, someone call me stupid.

  18. I just like the casting Sounded like you were pining for him at first. OK, if we can get Jennifer Lawrence to do a cold call for the role of Arisia instead.
  19. I've been negative about the costume, but I'm just happy we have a real actress in this role. In the past I thought Marley Shelton would have rocked the role in the early 2000's based on her similiar looks to the character, but after watching Melissa Benoist dominate her limited scenes in 'Whiplash' with so much quiet emotion, I think she's gonna carry this show pretty far.
